Awesome Bored RANKED TV

March signified the start of spring TV with Netflix tossing out new “Trailer Park Boys” and “Daredevil” for full streaming, while streaming competitor Amazon debuted season two of “Bosch.” But we both know Netflix is the superior streaming service, don’t we now?

With FX in full swing with new “Archer” and “The Americans” episodes, and returning shows like “Empire” on Fox, it makes you wonder just how much TV one set of eyes can handle. Well, just to find out, here are the spring 2016 TV shows you absolutely must watch, starting with April releases and working into late May. Just don’t forget to call in to work with a good excuse. (WARNING: SOME SPOILERS AHEAD)

The Ranch (Netflix)

Of all the new Netflix originals, “The Ranch” has been the most sought-after one of the bunch. We’re not saying you’re going to like it, but you have to check it out. With its recent release on April 4, folks can get a full stream on with their favorite “That ’70s Show” characters reuniting (Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson), along with the calm wit of Sam Elliott. It’s like “Dude Ranch” meets “That ’70s Show.”

Fear the Walking Dead (AMC)

After a short, but impressive debut season, the zombie companion series got started up again this past Sunday, one week after “The Walking Dead” season six finale. Last season gave us a solid cast and introduction to its characters before quickly dissolving into crisis mode. With almost everyone getting out to the coast in the nick of time, we’ll see season two pick up with some regrouping and family drama now that the apocalypse is in full swing. Turns out the sea isn’t so safe after all.

House of Lies (Showtime)

Now into season five, which started on April 10, the quiet Showtime success welcomes back Marty and Jeannie with — spoiler — their new baby girl, but that doesn’t mean Jeannie doesn’t still want out while Marty starts to move away from big clients. The new season will take the team to Havana, as well as guest host Keegan-Michael Key and Wanda Sykes.

Scream (MTV)

After an impressive slow burn of a first season, the teen-drama-meets-classic-’90s-pop-horror returns with another round of “guess who” on April 20. Without giving anything away, the show will attempt to uncover Piper’s sidekick while tossing out red herrings like a hen house with the door open. Was it Audrey? If you think you know who the black-hooded killer is, you’re damn wrong. Guess again!

Game of Thrones (HBO)

So much hype is gaining on the book-adapted series as they roll into a sixth season. With April 24 on everyone’s must-see calendar, “Game of Thrones” is set to return with the usual gore and nudity, as the show catches up to its original writing. With Bran and his followers set to return, we’ll see a stronger Bran, along with Theon, Euron and a new Red Priestess just as Margaery and Loras stand trial. Expect the Tullys return after the Red Wedding, flashbacks of a young Ned Stark and the return of survivor Sansa.

Silicon Valley (HBO)

Season two saw Richard go from flying high to a crashing halt as he was removed from his CEO chair. Season three picks up on April 24 with Richard trying to work his way back into the throne, but can he get ahead in the fast-paced techie world? Only nerds will tell.

Veep (HBO)

Season four left off with a tie in the election for Selina Meyer (Julia Louis Dreyfus) and Bill O’Brien. With the show’s creator out of the picture, “Veep” will pick up on HBO April 24 with the morning after as everyone waits anxiously to hear Congress settle the tiebreaker, which could land Selina back in the veep chair.

Penny Dreadful (Showtime)

Things are about to heat up for the Showtime stunner. With the loss of Sembene and Evelyn, season three, which picks up on May 1, will watch Lily’s prophecy come true from the season two finale, a reuniting of Vanessa (Eva Green) and Ethan (Josh Hartnett), along with the return of a familiar face.

Grace and Frankie (Netflix)

On May 6, the yin and yang of the newly single scene are back for another round with season two. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, highly regarded for their efforts in the debut season, go from foe to friends when their significant others leave them late in the game of life. Watch these two classic beauties meander through the modern world as two of the hottest grand-cougars to stream together on Netflix, of course with the help of sage Sam Elliott.

Bloodline (Netflix)
The Spring TV Shows You Absolutely Must Watch
The bad apple met his maker at the end of season one of the Florida family drama, “Bloodline,” but as season two ramps up, folks will get a taste for just how bad off Danny (Ben Mendelsohn) was and just how badly his brother (Kyle Chandler) and the rest of his siblings will have it because of him. Season two promises to be a haunting follow-up to one of the best Netflix originals yet with 10 episodes streaming starting May 27. Here’s hoping they can keep this one going a little longer.
