MARIAH CAREY – ‘AMERICAN IDOL’
Mariah Carey’s one-season stint as a judge on ‘American Idol’ was wrought with tension, particularly when it came to working with fellow judge Nicki Minaj. In fact, things got so bad, Carey now refers to ‘Idol’ as “the worst experience of her life.” “It’s so boring and so fake…” she said on Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O in May. “When I say it’s fake, I mean, I have to make up things to say about everybody. Half the time, the performances are good, you’ll just be like, ‘It was good.'” As for her feud with Minaj? “I’m not going to get into what it was, but let’s just say I don’t think they had any intentions for us to have a good experience doing that show,” Carey said. “Pitting two females against each other wasn’t cool.” Something tells us Carey won’t be watching the show’s final season next year.

STEVEN TYLER – ‘AMERICAN IDOL’

ALEC GUINNESS – ‘STAR WARS’

HALLE BERRY – ‘CATWOMAN’

CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER – ‘THE SOUND OF MUSIC’

KATHERINE HEIGL – ‘KNOCKED UP’ AND ‘GREY’S ANATOMY’

MATTHEW GOODE – ‘LEAP YEAR’
Mere weeks after ‘Leap Year’ hit theaters in America, co-star Matthew Goode openly trashed the Ireland-based romantic comedy in a now-infamous interview with the UK’s Telegraph. Referring to the Amy Adams vehicle as “turgid,” Goode confessed he only took the job in the first place because it was close to his home. “Do I feel I let myself down? No,” he said. “Was it a bad job? Yes, it was. But, you know, I had a nice time and I got paid.” Fair enough.

NICOLE KIDMAN – ‘AUSTRALIA’

ANGUS T. JONES – ‘TWO AND A HALF MEN’
Angus T. Jones, better known as the “Half” on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ publicly bit the hand that fed him when he trashed the CBS sitcom in a bizarre video posted to YouTube in 2012. “I’m on ‘Two and a Half Men’ and I don’t want to be on it,” he said. “Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth.” Jones — who left the show shortly thereafter — later defended his words in a 2014 interview with Houston’s KHOU, saying, “It was making light of topics in our world that are really problems for a lot of people, and I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t okay with it, but I was still doing it.”

MEGAN FOX – ‘TRANSFORMERS’

CHEVY CHASE – ‘COMMUNITY’
‘Community’ co-star Chevy Chase reportedly had a tumultuous working relationship with the show’s creator, Dan Harmon, all of which was put on full display when Chase’s profanity-laden voicemails to Harmon leaked to the Internet in 2012. Later that year, Chase took his disdain for the NBC comedy one step further in an interview with HuffPost UK. “The hours are hideous, and it’s still a sitcom on television, which is probably the lowest form of television,” Chase said. By the end of 2012, he had left the show.

So if “Community” is the lowest form of television…and Chevy Chase played the crappiest, most unliked character on that show…then didn’t he just call himself the worst actor on television?
I agree with Bill Murray on the topic of Chevy Chase – he’s just “medium talent”.
Without him, it was a much better show, and is still one of my favorites.
