Twitter has erupted with support for Bland, her family, and black Americans across the nation.

Bland’s story has inspired the hashtag #IfIDieInPoliceCustody, which is trending this week, and rightfully so. The tweets are dark, real, and an important addition to the continuing dialogue on race relations.

We have paired some sobering facts with these real tweets from the past couple of days. Read, comment, and raise your voice in solidarity.
