1. Originally the film ‘The Breakfast Club’ was supposed to be called ‘The Lunch Bunch’. Although it makes more sense, since, well they actually eat lunch together, it does sound a lot more lame.
2. Back in 1893, you could only crack open an ice cold Brad’s Drink. Who the fuck is Brad, you ask? Creator Caleb Bradham named it that after his surname, but changed it to Pepsi in 1902.

3. When Rowan Atkinson was creating the iconic Mr. Bean character, he also considered naming him Mr. Cauliflower.

4. Just before Hefner could publish his new magazine Stag Party, the company received a letter from Stag magazine which said that the name was an infringement on their title. Without anything else left to do Hugh Hefner made a last minute change to Playboy.

5. Before renaming Jim Parsons’ character to Sheldon, his name was Kenny and the series was going to be called ‘Lenny, Penny and Kenny’. Luckily, they changed it to ‘The Big Bang Theory’.

15. According to the book “America Toons In: A History of Television Animation” The Powerpuff Girls were initially named the Whoopass Girls. Badass. Unfortunately, the name was changed in order to avoid offending the intended audience, which is kids and their parents.
16. When frozen waffles were invented in 1953 they were actually called Froffles. But eventually, people started referring to them as Eggo’s due to their egg flavor, which is exactly what they changed the name to in 1955.
