Ads — they’re trying their best… to turn us into commerce bots with no desires but to buy whatever they’re selling. Not all ads are created equal, however; some of them are ineffective, some are placed unfortunately, and some are just downright sexiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiist. So scroll down, and check out the ways they imply that:
1) women are only for men’s visual/physical pleasure, 2) women aren’t interested in having conversations about anything but shoes, or equally vapid things, and 3) women are weak.

The first one looks as if it may be Indian- and they have some pretty outrageous stuff there… a Special K advert is tame!! But for most of them I feel like shaking my head gently.
No problem with sexy ads. They are more likely to make me buy a product than otherwise.
