50 Cent Films Himself Mocking An Airport Employee, Turns Out The Dude Is Mentally Handicapped, Internet Shitstorm Ensues

50cent50 Cent recently posted the this video to his 8.4 million Twitter followers and has been receiving intense backlash after it became public that the dude he was screwing around with is mentally challenged.

Instagram user Rusty Stone claims he went to school with the airport worker, Andrew Farrell, and reveals that the suffers from ‘extreme social difficulties’.

In the wake of this info, thousands of comments flooded social media, completely disgusted with the 40-year-old rapper.

One wrote: ‘Everyone has the right to be protected by their employers while they’re on the clock. 50 needs to be punished for his actions.’

Another: ‘That asshole just lost a lifelong fan.’

And another: ‘What do you expect from a guy who was shot 9 times for selling drugs…’

This is a tough one. In no way is preying on the mentally handicapped the least bit funny, but to automatically assume that 50 knew that Andrew was handicapped is presumptuous. Sure, Andrew comes off as a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but it’s not like he has a sign on his back that reads ‘I’m handicapped.’ And his reaction isn’t all that different than what you’ve expect a stoned airport employee to be.

Don’t get me wrong, now that it’s become public knowledge that Andrew is socially challenged, 50 needs to make this right. Whether it be a public apology or a gesture of reconciliation, something needs to happen. The droves of criticism 50 has already received will all be warranted if he doesn’t man up and recognize that his act, no matter how light-hearted the intent, was completely dickish in hindsight.

It’s been awesome to see the outpouring of support that the public has given Andrew, mostly in the form of comments on his most recent Instagram post.

Andrew responded to his supporters with this message:

Thanks everyone for the support and I do plan to go to court about it.

50 Cent has been living in a courtroom recently, and if he lets this incident go unattended to, he deserves to be right back in the defendant chair.

What do you think?
