The original Coca-Cola formula, created in 1886, supposedly got its name because it was made with cocoa leaf extract and thus contained tiny bits of cocaine. While today’s soda pop is created sans the illicit stimulant, the two Cokes met again recently in the south of France when approximately $55 million worth of cocaine was discovered at a Coca-Cola plant in Signe.

According to BBC News, the drugs were found stashed in bags labeled as orange juice concentrate in a container that arrived from South America. Investigators do not suspect the plant’s employees of being involved in the massive drug shipment.

The prosecutor of Toulon, Xavier Tarabeux, said that the discovery was “a very bad surprise.”

This “very bad surprise”  happens to be one of the largest French cocaine seizures to date.
