1. Kylie Jenner believes we are all being slowly poisoned by “chemtrails.”
Those believing in the chemtrails conspiracy theory think those white streaks left by airplanes in the sky are actually chemicals being deliberately sprayed on us by the government for any numbered of nefarious reasons. Scientists have debunked this myth, saying the white streaks, or contrails, are “streaks of condensed water vapor created in the air by an airplane or rocket at high altitudes.” But you go ahead and think what you want, Kylie.
2. Demi Lovato knows mermaids are real.
While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers last year, Lovato admitted she believes in aliens — particularly mermaids, who don’t look like what we see in movies and books, because, you know, they’re aliens. Meyers responded, “I’d rather live in your world and not mine. Not have to wake up every morning and say, ‘Well, I’m not going to see a mermaid.’”
3. Megan Fox loves her some leprechauns.
The actress told Esquire in 2013, “I like believing. I believe in all of these Irish myths, like leprechauns. Not the pot of gold, not the Lucky Charms leprechauns. But maybe was there something in the traditional sense? I believe that this stuff came from somewhere other than people’s imaginations… We should all believe in leprechauns.” Coming from her, it doesn’t sound all that crazy, right?
4. Kesha admits she had sex with a ghost.
When talking about her song “Supernatural” in 2012, the 25-year-old singer told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show, “It’s about experiences with the supernatural… but in a sexy way. I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don’t know his name! He was a ghost! I’m very open to it.” Okay, now I’m thinking about a few ghosts I would have sex with.
5. Lady Gaga is afraid of losing her creative “juices” through her lady parts.
In 2010, Mama Monster told Vanity Fair, “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.” I’m pretty sure Gaga has since changed her mind on this one because she’s engaged to Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney, and how could she resist that gorgeous man?
6. Jake Gyllenhaal says humans must be controlled by the lunar cycle.
The 34-year-old actor recently told Esquire UK, “I believe deeply in the unconscious. That you literally accumulate the molecules of the space that you’re in. We’re like 90 percent water, so naturally we are going to be affected by the moon when it’s full: if the sea is, why wouldn’t we be? That seems scientific to me.” Actually, Jake may have a point.
