9 PHOTOS OF NASA’S SECRET UNMANNED SHUTTLE REPLACEMENT

With little fanfare, the 196-foot-tall United Launch Alliance Atlas-V rocket launched the Boeing X-37B spaceplane in Florida this morning, onto its fourth mission since 2010. Though we’ve yet to receive information on when we’ll be able to see it in the flesh again and frankly know surprisingly little about it, here are nine photos courtesy of NASA.

NASA: Hey don’t we have a scale replica of the space shuttle around here somewhere? Yeah, we do! Ok lets put a second vertical stabilizer and put some Bondo over the windshield and call it the replacement! Hell yeah, space!
