A Brief History Of Guns In America

Firearms have a long and unique history in the United States. They’re controversial, and they have a huge impact on public health and safety. This month’s special Healthcare Triage series will look at firearms as a public health issue in the United States. This week, we’ll be looking at the history of guns in the US, and how gun legislation has changed over the last couple of hundred years, and how courts’ interpretations of the second amendment have changed. In the next few weeks, we’ll look at gun homicides, gun suicides, and firearm policy.

AINT NOTHING MORE AMERICAN THEN STICKIN A SMITH AND WESSON UP A BULL FROGS ASS

Who thinks without guns the government will take control of your lives? They already do. Cramming the notions of buy into your psyche, pushing you away from each other so that from a me vs them perspective you claw at the slightest chance to one up each other, even the people you care about. Granted, left to anarchy we’d prolly eat each other. Only way we gonna stop shooting and killing and eating each other is if we radically change the way we look at things. What has the old way really done for us? We all know the current system of living our lives is a bit sickening, or at least boring. Day in and day out doing what our habits tell us. Personally, I don’t think we really need guns.
