Would You Be Able To Tell The Difference? – Cottonmouth Vs Water Snake

Easily confused for one another, these two snakes are worlds apart in terms of their danger factor toward humans. However in order to show you how to tell the deadly viper apart from the harmless Colubridae Coyote must catch one of each which is going to be a whole lot easier said, than done…good thing our wildlife biologist Mario Aldecoa is back in the field to help with the search!

I don’t care. It’s a snake. If I can keep my distance I will, if not I’ll kill it. Nothing personal, but you’re a snake. I don’t share turf with snakes. I’ve lived a lot in snakey places, had a pet mongoose once (they’re great, much better than cats or even ferrets) and maintained a zero tolerance policy.

Really. As developing primates we faced a lot of threats. Predators, competitors. We apparently co-existed with Dire-wolves and now we have turned them into our loyal, intelligent and affecionate companions. We had to co-exist with sabre-toothed felines and now they are decorative hangers-on (except for a limited amount of pest control. They slid out of that job, didn’t they? Smug bastards that they are.) But we we never really made a deal with snakes or spiders. Yes, both are potenially useful in pest control but we just don’t like you. Except for a few wierdos.
