Amazon To Introduce One-Hour Alcohol Delivery

On Tuesday, Residents of Seattle were excited to learn that they will never have to leave their homes again now that Amazon will be offering one-hour alcohol delivery through the company’s website.

Amazon Prime Now, which has already been available in select cities across America, will for the first time offer the ASAP delivery of wine and beer from 8 a.m. to midnight in Seattle and the surrounding areas. According to the website’s press release:

Residents of Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond and Kirkland can now get one-hour delivery on tens of thousands of items like paper towels, wine, beer, chilled and frozen items like milk and ice cream, televisions and Kindle devices.

“Prime Now is our fastest delivery option ever. With Prime Now, you can skip a trip to the store and get the items you need delivered right to your door in under an hour,” said Stephenie Landry, director of Amazon’s Prime Now service.

Prime Now two-hour deliver is free, but if you really, really need to get drunk quick, you can shell out an extra $7.99 to get your booze in an hour.

All this, of course, being contingent on you not giving two shits about the working conditions of any of Amazon’s employees, whose abuse allows such innovations in Internet retail.

Who are we kidding? We get it! You just wanna get drunk! Order away, rummy!
