Now that unsealed court documents have removed what little doubt there already was about whether Bill Cosby is or is not a serial rapist (he is), get ready to see a massive number of companies and #brands do what they can to distance themselves from the toxic comedian. The first domino to fall is Disney World.

Well, technically the first domino to fall was Netflix when they indefinitely postponed his upcoming comedy special, and then there was NBC cancelling his planned sitcom. Then TV Land stopped showing reruns of The Cosby Show. So really we’re about three dominoes in, and this was a terrible analogy. Look, the point is, for some strange reason there is a bust of Bill Cosby in Disney World but that fucker is coming down tonight. It looks like this, apparently:

So there you have it, folks. Disney absolutely will not tolerate rapists, provided they are accused by over 40 women and then evidence that they pretty much admitted to it a decade ago is finally made public. A powerful stance, and a strong message being delivered.

Hopefully the bust will be laid to rest in whatever trash heap Joe Paterno’s statue ended up in.

On Wednesday, Deadline reported that alleged serial rapist Bill Cosby “has been quietly dumped” by his representatives at Creative Artists Agency.

Cosby, who was repped by CAA since 2012, is currently without talent representation, only legal. What a loser!

CAA apparently bailed on Cosby earlier this year but did not go public with their dismissal until now. “We do not represent him at this time,” one CAA official told Deadline. IMDbPro still lists Carla Laur as his agent, but she confirmed to Deadline that “No, I do not” represent the comic any longer.

IMDbPro also lists Laur as the current representative of talents such as Chelsea Handler, Anna Kendrick, Alyssa Milano, Jaime Pressly, William “Sweep the Leg” Zabka, and Nina Dobrev.

Prior to Cosby’s signing with CAA in 2012, he was represented by the William Morris Agency for 48 years.

The 77-year-old may also face more civil and possibly criminal charges related to the four dozen or so allegations of rape and sexual assault made against him.

black activists in Los Angeles are now calling for the removal of his star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

According to Los Angeles Times, Earl Ofari Hutchinson of the Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable and Najee Ali of Project Islamic Hope sent a letter to the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce demanding that the star be removed. The letter was cosigned by “a coalition of African American Activists,” according to The Wrap.

“Drugging and rape are serious crimes and having a star on the walk honoring Cosby after his admissions of these acts is a gross slap at the industry and the public,” Hutchinson and Ali wrote.

However, the Chamber of Commerce is holding its ground.

“Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive wrote in a statement emailed to NBC. “Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”

That’s not to say people haven’t taken measures to diminish the star on their own accord. In December a vandal defaced the star by writing “rapist” on it.

In addition to targeting Cosby, the statement issued by Hutchinson and Ali also took issue with Whoopi Goldberg’s staunch “innocent until proven guilty” apologia in the face of mounting testimony against the embattled comedian and the now public deposition.

“Shame on Whoopi Goldberg and the other African-American Cosby supporters,” read a portion of the statement published by The Wrap. “Cosby did this to himself. Your continued support of a serial rapist is a major reason why women don’t want to report sexual assault, because they feel no one will believe them.”

The statement also takes issue with the moralist role which Cosby publicly assumed over the years.

“Nearly 40 women have come forth publicly over the year’s stating publicly that Cosby drugged and had sex with them without there consent. Which is rape,” the statement continued. “Cosby deliberately placed himself in a position of high moral standards and told the African American community who they are to be, while he was cheating on his wife and drugging and raping women nationwide. This is the epitome of hypocrisy revealed.”

The coalition issuing the statement is expected to give a press conference in Los Angeles on Thursday.
