British Prisoner, Ian Huntley, ‘Wants A Sex Change So He Can Move To Woman’s Prison’

Ian Huntley reportedly wants a sex change so he can move to a woman’s prison, an ex-inmate has claimed.

Huntley, who was given 40 years behind bars for the murders of 10-year-old schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman back in 2002, is apparently not happy in his current home in HMP Frankland in Durham.

The Daily Star on Sunday has spoken to a former inmate, who reportedly said: “He knows he’s a marked man while he’s in Frankland and he believes his only hope of a cushy life is to become a woman.”

Apparently, he’s told other inmates (including Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe) that he will start wearing women’s clothes, underwear and make-up in an attempt to convince doctors that he wants to be a woman. If he was successful, the NHS (and therefore the taxpayer) would be required to fork out for the £100,000 operation.

The source continued: “Huntley and Sutcliffe are always in and out of each others’ cells. They are both hated by the majority of the inmates because they have showed no remorse for what they have done.

“There are a lot of bad people in Frankland Prison but Huntley is one of the worst.”

He has not yet made a formal request to change his sex. However, he would be required to undergo rigorous psychological tests in order to prove that his intentions are genuine.

No-one really knows why Huntley murdered the two young best friends. However, he claims that the pair stopped to speak to him outside his home and he invited them in. He says that Holly began having a nose bleed and fell into a bath, where she banged her head and drowned. He added that Jessica screamed so he put his hand on her mouth until she stopped.

Their bodies were found in a ditch near RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, 13 days later.
