A 29-year-old woman with an Oxycodone addiction was busted for committing five Bronx bank robberies — after her naive husband called police and asked why police were going around “showing pictures of my wife,” officials said Thursday.

Christina Teifer, 29, admitted to police that her addiction to Oxycodone led her to hold up five banks in Riverdale starting on May 9, officials said.

Three of the bank robberies took place on May 24, officials said.

During most of the robberies, Teifer, wearing a hood and sunglasses, approached the teller and demanded 10 $100 bills, officials said.

Believing that she lived nearby because the banks were so close to each other, detectives canvassed the area with surveillance images of the thief.

As they searched, Teifer’s husband called police wanting to know why cops were showing pictures of his wife, officials said.

When investigators went to his home Monday, Teifer was there and admitted to all five robberies, police said.

She was charged with multiple counts of robbery, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, officials said.
