DRAG BIKE GETS TOO MUCH GRIP AND GOES FLIPPING THROUGH THE AIR
Drag racer Brett Ghedina was lucky to walk away from a spectacular start-line crash at the Perth Motorplex. The incident happened as Ghedina lined up for the opening round of Comp Bike eliminations at Saturday night’s Maximum Thrust Grand Final event. His turbocharged Honda was chasing a time of 7.94 seconds down the quarter mile. Instead, he was scoring sevens and nines for spectacularly backflipping the machine high into the air as he opened the throttle.
