SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA: State Deputy Attorney General Jeannie Kelly was arrested on October 20, 2015 for resisting a peace officer in the courtroom. Kelly was representing the state in the case of Tammy Jordan v. State of California when she began yelling and pointing at another attorney across the room. She refused to calm down after being admonished by the Sheriff’s Department, and Kelly gets into a struggle with a bailiff that causes both of them to fall down before being surrounded by multiple deputies.

No charges have been filed yet. The San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office says it is still reviewing evidence and reports from the incident.
