 When people lead busy lives, it’s essential to do things efficiently to save a lot of time, even when preparing food.

Peeling away the skin of some foods can be a bit daunting, but there is a right and easier way of doing it. You’d be surprised that there are four foods that you’ve all been peeling ‘wrong,’ and here are the ways it could be done right.

When peeling bananas, the monkeys do it best: from the butt. Smash a bulb of garlic to separate the cloves with your hand and shake the skin out inside a container. This shaking hack also works with a hard boiled egg. And when it comes to potatoes, a light slice is done before boiling and dropping it into a cold water bath.
