German WWI Trench Armor

The German army actually bought half a million sets of this armor in WWI!
It was used mostly by machine gunners starting in 1916.

One reply on “German WWI Trench Armor”

Storm troopers were WWII, no?

I like the niples. HELLOO Tokyo!

The browplate was probably for observers, because that’s the only bit poking over the parapet.

The whole point about armor is to give the user courage. In reality, you’ll probably wish you died because the IED made you a quadriplegic.
