Girl Orders Belly Button Jewelry Online, Gets “Anal Sex Weapon” Instead

Noeleen Green

An Amazon shopper was sent an anal sex toy by mistake before staff joked about her being ‘bummed’ and ‘getting to the bottom of it’.

Horrified Noeleen Green, 28, ordered a £3 belly button bar but opened a package from the retail giant to find a ‘vaginal intercourse anal sex weapon’.

The mum-of-two then took to Facebook and wrote: “I have young children in my house whom are now questioning the item and asking when we can set the game up and play.

“Could you give me an explanation as to what I am supposed to say to them?

“And also to my horrified mother n father who now think I am some sort of sadistic fun loving anal obsessed human being ( I’m not, but it’s each to their own for those who are!)

“I am aware buying online can sometimes be confusing and details of items can get a little misconceived, however, I would like you to inform me how you can mistake my order for a sex toy.

“I have lost faith in Amazon and their products, and won’t be shopping with them again.”

Ms Green, of Birmingham, waited four or five weeks for the item to be delivered.

She said: “Instead of an innocent belly bar, I was left with an unwanted anal sex toy, which needless to say did not fit the description of the item I had originally ordered.”

The reply racked up over 7,000 likes but Ms Green is furious that the company did not take the issue seriously.

She said: “I am still coming to terms with the horror that has been caused to myself following the backlash of stick that I received on social media.

However her horror turned to anger after staff from Amazon’s social media team responded to her complaint with crude puns about the situation.

A representative posted: “I can only imagine how bummed you are, Noeleen. We’re here to help and want to get to the bottom of this.”

“Did you order the belly bar from a seller on our site? If so, we’ll happily stand behind you if they’re unable to help.”

An Amazon spokesman said they are currently investigating Ms Green’s complaint and apologisesd for any offence that their reply may have caused.
