Here Are The Next Five Confirmed Films In The Marvel Cinematic Universe –

After Avengers: Infinity War has been smashing records for box office figures, the Marvel Cinematic Universe stock has never been higher.

Far from it, Marvel have got five more titles lined up for the next two years, the first of nine that they are going to bring out before 2022 – they’re really trying to squeeze every last drop out of the current success they’re having, and why wouldn’t they?

So, what’s the next step for Marvel? Well, first up we’ve got Ant Man and the Wasp which is down for release later this year on July 6th.

Luckily for those who haven’t seen Infinity War yet, it takes place between Captain America: Civil War and the events of Infinity War.

That will be the last Marvel film of 2018, but fear not, normal service will be resumed in the first few months of 2019.

March 8th 2019 will see the release of Captain Marvel – a sort of prequel to the whole series that takes place in the 1990s. It will take in things like how Nick Fury knows Captain Marvel, and it stars Brie Larson.

Then – the big one – on May 3rd 2019 there will be another Avengers flick. We don’t know what it will be called yet – that’s part of the fun, though, because apparently the new title is a spoiler for Infinity War, so we won’t find out for a bit yet.

Then, following that there’s going to be a sequel to Spiderman: Homecoming. Again, we don’t have a name to go on, but it’s likely to follow whatever action takes place in the as-yet-untitled Avengers effort. We do know that it’ll be out on July 5th 2019 though, so that’s something.

Things start to get a bit more vague after that. As we enter 2020 we enter the realms of “some point in that year” for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The release date is thought to be either May 1st, July 31st, or November 6th – for all that matters. We can surely expect some witty quips, CGI raccoons, and classic soft rock tunes. Well worth getting down to the cinema for.

There you have it, that’s surely more Marvel than anyone could ask for. Marvellous.
