A Frederick Douglass High School student charged with attempted murder in the brutal beating of a classmate was ordered held without bail. Sean Johnson, 17, appeared via video before Judge Jamey H. Hueston at Baltimore District Court in Brooklyn. According to charging documents, Johnson attacked a football teammate he thought might have stolen a piece from his football helmet. The attack, which left the victim hospitalised and facing surgery, was captured on video and posted online.
