HOLLYWOOD’S GOT NOTHING ON THIS REAL LIFE ISS DOCKING VIDEO

A few years back, Gravity won just about every award possible for its staggering depiction of space. But what filmmakers were able to accomplish with CGI and Sandra Bullock pale in comparison to high-def footage of the real thing.

The Russian Space Agency released this video of a Soyuz spacecraft re-docking to the International Space Station a few weeks back, giving all of us a front row seat to the incredibly precise and technical process. Let’s set the science aside for a moment, and just recognize how beautiful it is.

Next time some blockbuster needs some Astro-footage, they should just call up their local space agency.

Sorry for the duplicate post, was having issues. I can’t believe they didn’t use that music in the first place, or perhaps it’s been overused for such things.
