Yeah, no. I don’t think this is how it works for impeachment.

In the first impeachment, the Democrats presented compelling evidence that was rejected by a Republican majority at the senate. The Democrats couldn’t just appeal to the USSC.

Therefore, this time round, the House has passed the impeachment motion and now the Senate will rule by a vote.
