Hours before O.J. Simpson held a gun to his head in a white Bronco, the NFL Hall of Famer contemplated killing himself in the bedroom of his friend’s teen daughter — Kim Kardashian.
Simpson recorded a suicide tape while hiding out at lawyer pal Robert Kardashian’s home on June 17, 1994, according to “The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case,” which aired Wednesday.
“Please remember me as ‘The Juice,'” Simpson pleaded, his voice breaking after he was charged with the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
“Please remember me as a good guy. Don’t remember me as one of the negatives that might end up here. Please, please, please, please leave my kids at peace. I love everybody.”
Simpson said he “got very lonely at times these years,” but he went out of his way to keep up appearances.
“Everybody loved me but I don’t know why,” he said. “Things in my life just caught up to me.”
