A paedophile who targeted teenage boys on the popular game Minecraft has admitted to a string of child sex offences.

22-year-old Adam Isaac of Maesgwynne, South Wales, is now facing jail for his crimes against two boys aged 13 and 14.

Isaac pleaded guilty to six charges of causing or inciting child prostitution or child pornography, one charge of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and one charge of possessing indecent images.

Sue Ferrier from Isaac’s defence team asked Judge Richard Twomlow for an adjournment for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

She said:

He does understand that these are serious matters and he has been trying to address these issues himself.

The prosecution didn’t open their case against Isaac at Merthyr Crown Court but it’s reported by The Mirror they’ll be applying for a sexual harm prevention order at the next hearing.

A sexual harm prevention order will prevent Isaac from seeking certain types of employment based on previous offending behaviour if the prosecution can prove he poses further risk to the public.

The judge told him:

You have pleaded guilty to a number of serious offences. I am going to ask for a pre-sentence report so the court knows more about you.

The fact I am doing this is no indication of the sort of sentence you will expect. In all likelihood it will be a prison sentence – you must understand that.

Isaac has been released on conditional bail until he is sentenced on December 16.
