Pennsylvania Man Kept Stolen Brain Stashed Under Trailer To Get High

A Pennsylvania man kept a stolen human brain beneath the porch of his trailer to get high, reports the Washington Post.  The 26-year-old is already incarcerated by Cumberland County in connection to a string of burglaries. Joshua Lee Long now faces new charges of misdemeanor abuse of a corpse and conspiracy to commit abuse of a corpse. Long kept the stolen brain, which he named Freddy, inside of a Walmart bag. His aunt found it while cleaning the trailer, reports NBC affiliate WGAL. She called Long in prison to ask about the brain in the Walmart bag, and he was like, yup, that’s my stolen brain. His aunt then snitched and called the police. Authorities are unsure where the brain came from, but believe it was originally used for medical purposes.

From the Washington Post:

“The defendant related that he knew it was illegal to have the brain and that he and (another man) would spray the embalming fluid on ‘weed’ to get high,” Trooper John Boardman, an investigator involved in the case, wrote in court documents cited by the AP.

The use of the verb “spraying” is where this story gets really weird. It doesn’t sound the like brain had been liquidized, so you’d think the weed was “rubbed” on the brain to soak up the embalming fluids. According to drug vault Erowid, smoking joints laced in embalming fluid produces a similar high to that of PCP, which means it’s bonkers.

Also from the Washington Post:

Spraying or soaking marijuana with embalming fluid is “an emerging drug trend,” according to a statement from the Drug Enforcement Administration. Embalming fluid is often found in morgues and funeral homes, but the fluid — which has serious health risks — can also be purchased directly from chemical companies or online, the DEA notes.

Reactions to the drug appear to vary, with users reporting “anger” and “paranoia” as well as an “increase in women’s sexual appetites.”

Long remains in prison with his new brain-stealing charges, and the Pennsylvania police are working to return the brain to its rightful owner.

This video has nothing to do with the Joshua Lee Long case, but it will inform about doing this kind of shit.

Hey kids….don’t do those kinds of drugs!
