Roombas are pretty great. You go to sleep and wake up with a clean, vacuumed house. No loud noises, no manual labor.

Moreover, it can even second as a DJ or a kitten-mobile.

So it’s a win-win, right? Well, at least until there’s a giant pile of puppy poop on your floor. And “Oh the horror” is probably the only description that fits the outcome of this shitty catastrophe.

If you’ve ever wondered what your house would look like after a Roomba ran over poop, here’s a pretty good idea of it:

In a Facebook post, Jesse Newton said his dog, Evie, pooped in the living room at some point between midnight and 1:30 am, when his vacuum cleaning robot was set to run.

So when Newton‘s 4-year-old son awoke at 3 a.m. to crawl into bed with his parents, Newton wondered why there was dog poop on his kid’s feet.

Then, he got out of bed and walked into a “war zone of poop” in his living room.

“It will be on your floorboards. It will be on your furniture legs. It will be on your carpets. It will be on your rugs. It will be on your kids’ toy boxes. If it’s near the floor, it will have poop on it,” he writes. “Those awesome wheels, which have a checkered surface for better traction, left 25-foot poop trails all over the house.”

Nevertheless, Newton documented the entire dramatic saga that unfolded as a cautionary tail to others. Described as “the Pooptastrophe, the poopocalypse, and the poopening” this post, complete with a hand drawn map of the poop trail, has since gone viral with nearly 300,000 shares.

Well, poop really is the last thing you want your roomba to pick up.

And after realizing the true essence of the absolute horror in his home, Newton writes,

Luckily this story has a happy ending. “I called them and told the truth,” explains Newton. “My Roomba found dog poop and almost precipitated World War III.”

However, this is one story you should just really read for yourself. It’s worth it.

In the end, this is one experience that you just can’t flush away.
