When You Potentially Get To Sue Coca-Cola For Infringement
The bottle is being used as part of a music promotion by Coca Cola which allows folks to scan their bottle with their smartphone to bring up an online music playlist. The “Out for a Rip” playlist, for some reason, does not contain the song “Out for a Rip”.
Soon after making this discovery, I was flooded with reports of these bottles popping up nationwide, and decided it was time to respond to this seemingly unlicensed use of my intellectual friggin’ property. With my lawyer, Rob Kittredge, (RKIP.ca) I decided the best possible course of action would be to detail the whole ordeal in a music video that also serves as my legal demand letter to Coca Cola. I hope this answers some questions for all those who’ve been Inquiring. Friggin’ right on.
