Puddle Of Mudd Lead Singer Brags About Being On Crack On Stage As Entire Band Walks Off In Protest
Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin is a walking plane crash.
Just a couple months after the frontman walked off stage mid-set after accusing an audience member of stealing his home, the oft-troubled singer has sunk deeper into a downward spiral, taking his shenanigans across the pond to the UK.
According to Doncaster Free Press,
Fans who watched Puddle of Mudd at the Gloucester Guildhall last night say they were left disappointed by the band’s shambolic performance.
This comes after Tuesday’s sold-out concert at The Diamond Live Lounge in Wood Street, when Wes slurred his way through songs as he swigged a bottle of spirits on stage and boasted to fans about being high on crack cocaine.
The below clip starts with Scantlin flipping off his bandmates as they walk off stage in protest. He then explains to the restless audience that his band has stopped playing before asking the rhetorical question: “Is that not a surprise?”
How about the dude endlessly repeating “FUCK YOU, WES!” I could almost feel the tears streaming down his face–he LOVED Puddle of Mudd.
This dude wasn’t the only one who was disgusted by the performance, as droves of people took to the venues Facebook page to express their disappointment:
“What a disappointment Puddle of Mudd were tonight.”
“I’ll save my money next time. Kudos to the rest of the band who somehow managed to carry the wasted lead singer through the set…just!
“Fantastic venue, and great staff as always, just let down by a singer who couldn’t seem to give a shit.”
The fact that people are still giving this dude a platform is beyond me. Get well, dude. Please.
