Shia LaBeouf And Jaden Smith Start Four-Year Long Anti-Trump Live Stream

Shia LaBeouf and Jaden Smith are protesting Donald Trump’s inauguration with a four-year long live stream.

Of course Shia LaBeouf and Jaden Smith weren’t just going to sit down and watch the inauguration of Donald Trump willy-nilly, like normal American citizens. In fact, they didn’t watch it at all.

The two actor friends chose to kickstart a stream intended, at the very least, to span the length of President Trump’s first term.

Staged in New York, the live will feature people appearing before the camera and repeating: ‘He will not divide us’.

LaBeouf and Smith spearheaded the whole thing but are now enlisting the public to take over.

“Open to all, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the participatory performance will be live-streamed continuously for four years, or the duration of the presidency,” the website reads.

“In this way, the mantra “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US” acts as a show of resistance or insistence, opposition or optimism, guided by the spirit of each individual participant and the community.”

Thinking of popping down yourselves? The camera is set up outside the Museum of the Moving Image.

Over the years, LaBeouf has become synonymous with live-streams, beginning first with ‘#ALLMYMOVIES’ in which he watched all of his films, back-to-back, with no breaks.

For me, it’s anyone guess whether or not blue-collar American Trump voters will even watch this live, let alone fork out a plane ticket to go stand outside some trendy gallery in New York.

‘He will not divide us’… smacks a bit of hypocrisy. The two actors are distancing themselves from the president instead of trying to address him. What will this achieve?

You could spend four years better, IMO. You could write a book, start a band and tour the country; eat or drink at every McDonald’s or Wetherspoons in the UK. You watch at least half of Avatar! Wow.
