25. In 1981, a 27-year-old James Cameron was working as a director on Pirhana II, when he was fired for failing to get a close-up of the lead actress. Shots Fired Into Home Because Of Bad Restaurant Review

Shots Fired Into Home Because Of Bad Restaurant Review

Ken Walley was sitting on the couch, watching television, when a bullet whizzed by his head.

"I actually could feel the air from the bullet as it passed by me."

His daughter, Monica Walley, was in the other room.

"I didn't think anybody was crazy enough to do this."

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said, because Monica left a negative review for a nearby restaurant, the gunfire was retaliation.

"When this all happened, I thought, no way ! I mean like, after a bad restaurant review? This doesn't seem right."

Deputies said three shots were fired into the home after a white Ford Flex stopped outside their residence on the night of August 20, the same night the review was posted.

One of those three bullets, narrowly missed Ken's head by inches.  He describes the noise "like a car backfiring."  He said he dove to the ground, and later found the .410 caliber bullet in a nearby laundry basket.

The review, posted on Walley's personal Facebook page said that her disabled mother was denied service at The Daybreak Diner. Walley said the diner told her mother she could not be inside the restaurant without another person with her. Instead, she would have to wait for her food order in her car.

Walley said in the past, her mother had a fall at the restaurant and she had only ever since returned with a companion.  Walley writes, "It was my mother's birthday, and all she wanted was her favorite Greek omelet. She arrived back home in tears."

"It was so upsetting, so I felt that I needed to share this, and it's my right to be able to tell others like what my experience is and what happened to my mother. I think anybody in my shoes would have done the same thing."

That post led to hundreds of negative comments online and several angry phone calls to the diner. The owner of The Daybreak said her business was ruined as a result.

On the diner's professional Facebook page, they posted a statement that started, "To our valued customers: recently Daybreak Diner has become the center of a social media controversy alleging discrimination against a customer. The Daybreak family pride ourselves in welcoming the community into our diner and have never and will never practice any form of discrimination."

Deputies arrested 42-year-old Normal Auvil. In their report, they said he is a friend of the restaurant's owner and a former veteran. They report he had several beers the night of the alleged shooting.

Auvil is charged with shooting into a dwelling and abuse of a disabled adult.

Hothead Cop Fired After Firing Stun Gun At Handcuffed Man’s Neck

Hothead Cop Fired After Firing Stun Gun At Handcuffed Man’s Neck

A police officer in Meridian, Mississippi, has been fired after using his stun gun against a handcuffed suspect during a recent arrest, according to an official with the Meridian police department.

Man Fired For Tackling Gun Stealing Thief

Man Fired For Tackling Gun Stealing Thief -

White was taken into the store’s office while police were en route.

It was there that he admitted to stealing the gun and threatened to shoot people with it. Court records indicate those threats, but do not mention threats to kill police officers as Crouch’s attorney claims.

White, according to court records, said he and his family were being threatened by an unknown person and he wanted the gun to “kill him."

“He repeatedly said ‘I stole and I admit to it’ and ‘I will steal again when I get out of jail,’” officers wrote in their report.

Hobbs said his client is considering a lawsuit for wrongful termination. The way he sees it, Crouch may have saved lives by stopping White.

“This is not something that happens for Mr. Crouch in his everyday life,” Hobbs said. “I think he was thinking there is a man running out of the store with a gun in his hand with his coworkers following from the firearm area screaming ‘Stop that man.’ Something had to be done and he was the one that was going to do it.”

Academy Sports spokeswoman Elise Hasbrook said she could not comment on specific personnel matters or policies.

However, Crouch’s actions and his termination were handled in accordance with the Texas-based company’s policies.

“While the incident ended without injury, actions inconsistent with corporate policies were taken,” she said. “We addressed the matter with the local store and individuals involved.”

Crouch worked at the store for more than two years and is married with a family and has no way to support them.

Hobbs said maybe the corporate policy should be revisited.

“My instincts tell me they are concerned more about people like Mr. White suing them for being stopped in the course of a theft than they are about rewarding or acknowledging in a positive manner that Mr. Crouch may have saved lives.”

Police Officer Fired After Pulling Over, Detaining Daughter And Boyfriend

Police Officer Fired After Pulling Over, Detaining Daughter And Boyfriend -

An Ohio police officer was fired after an internal investigation discovered he had abused his power after pulling over and detaining his daughter and her boyfriend without cause.

John Kovach Jr., a 26-year veteran, was fired after the Lorain Police Department found the traffic stop was an “abuse of power.”

Dashcam footage from the patrolman’s cruiser showed the officer pulling over a silver car on April 16, the Chronicle-Telegram reported. The car contained three passengers: Katlyn Kovach, 18, his daughter; Makai Coleman, 18, her boyfriend and a friend. The footage showed that Kovach did not tell dispatch that he pulled over a car.

Kovach told Coleman to step out of the vehicle because “he’s going to jail.” When Coleman asked why the officer said, “Have a seat in my car. We’ll make [expletive] up as we go.” The teenager proceeds to sit in the back of the cruiser.

The patrolman was able to locate Coleman’s car after tracing his daughter’s computer to a friend’s home, FOX 8 reported. Kovach threatened to give the friend, who was in the car, a ticket for failing to wear her seatbelt.

The girl’s mother saw the incident when she ran out of the home and said she was calling the police. At the time, dispatchers were trying to contact Kovach about a road rage incident but he did not respond.

Kovach did not realize his daughter was also in the car at the time of the traffic stop, investigators said. Once he saw she was there, he also demanded her to step out of the vehicle.

The teenager was seen yelling at her father for “using his badge and uniform to intimidate her and her boyfriend,” FOX 8 reported.

In an off-camera exchange between Kovach and his daughter, she is heard saying he couldn’t take her because she was 18.

“You have to give me a reason, by law. Daddy, why are pushing me? Why are you [expletive] pushing me? Why are you doing this?” she is heard saying.

The investigation also discovered that Kovach lied to his supervisors about the traffic stop. He told investigators he did not approve of his daughter’s relationship with Coleman, but didn’t give a reason.

He said he would appeal his termination.

Japanese Worker Punished For Starting Lunch Three Minutes Early

Japanese Worker Punished For Starting Lunch Three Minutes Early

Japan’s commitment to addressing its dismal record on work-life balance has been called into question after a civil servant was punished for “habitually” slipping away from his desk a few minutes early to buy a bento lunch. The 64-year-old, an employee of the waterworks bureau in the western city of Kobe, was fined and reprimanded after he was found to have left his desk just three minutes before the start of his designated lunch break on 26 occasions over a seven-month period. Senior officials at the bureau then called a televised news conference, where they described the man’s conduct as “deeply regrettable” and bowed in apology.

A spokesman for the bureau told AFP: “The lunch break is from noon to 1pm. He left his desk before the break.” The worker had violated a public service law requiring officials to “concentrate on their jobs”, according to the bureau. Local media reported the incident soon after MPs passed a law intended to address Japan’s punishingly long working hours. Last month, the lower house passed a bill that caps overtime at 100 hours a month in response to a rise in the number of employees dying from karoshi, or death from overwork.

The government was forced to act following a public outcry over the death of Matsuri Takahashi, a 24-year-old employee of the advertising giant Dentsu, who killed herself in 2015 after being forced to work more than 100 hours overtime a month, including at weekends. Takahashi’s case triggered calls to address a workplace culture that often forces employees to put in long hours to demonstrate their dedication. In its first white paper on karoshi in 2016, the government said one in five employees were at risk of death from overwork. Social media users leaped to the Kobe official’s defence, with one Twitter user pointing out that, on average, he had left his desk early just once a week.

Others wondered if the rule would be applied to people who leave their desks to smoke or go to the toilet. Another said: “What about all the politicians who sleep in parliament? They ought to be fired, then.” The official’s illicit bento expeditions were uncovered after a senior colleague looked out of his office window and spotted him walking to a nearby restaurant that sells takeaway food at lunchtime.  Senior management calculated how much time he had spent away from his desk and docked him half a day’s pay, according to Sora News 24.

The employee, who has not been named, reportedly said that he had left the office early to buy lunch because he needed a “change of pace”. Kobe city recently suspended another official for a month for a similar misdemeanour, saying he had been absent for more than 55 hours over a six-month period.

Bank Sees This Anime Fan Twerking In His Pink Underwear And Fires Him

Bank Sees This Anime Fan Twerking In His Pink Underwear And Fires Him

If you don’t know who Melonpan is, he’s a Swiss anime fan who has a decent-sized Twitter following for his somewhat eccentric behavior involving moe anime characters and figurines.

I mean, that’s not all that much weirder than the Sweedish Chef on The Muppet Show. I think he cooked and ate Bunson Honeydew once. That might have been a dream. But Gonzo was dating a chicken, there was some weird stuff going on there.

Moe is a Japanese term that, essentially, refers to attraction to anime characters, or as otaku usually refer to them, “2d girls”, and Melonpan has no problem expressing which 2d girls he finds moe on Twitter.

Otaku are the subject of this season’s best anime, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku, so their culture and ways are becoming known to the rest of us. The characters in Wotakoi tend to keep their hobbies on the down-low, and they tend to be a little more… restrained than Melonpan, but he’s just enthusiastic.

The reason I’m telling you all of this is because Melonpan was fired by DHL after like, one day of working there because they found out about his antics on Twitter.

Twitter translates that message as “Because of a storm of complaints, I was fired on the first day of joining DHL. I’m going to go back to UBS and try to apply for the part where the face is not known. I’m doing a lot of kinky gentleman like Lori, but I work hard!”

Melonpan has found himself the subject of several pieces about how weird he is, but he’s not going to let that keep him from doing the things he loves, which is mainly body pillows.

I mean, hey, if he’s happy, he’s happy. The dude obviously isn’t ashamed to be weird on the internet, so who am I to try and shame him? Is he really any weirder than the dudes (and ladies, let’s be real) posting thirsty replies to porn stars or the stars of Marvel movies? And I’d much rather spend time with this guy than some degenerate Olicity shipper.

14 Celebrities Who Got Fired Right From The Movie Set

14 Celebrities Who Got Fired Right From The Movie Set

Moviemaking is a complicated process in which everything must be perfect. So when the smooth flow of things gets disrupted by the actors themselves, the directors and producers sometimes find it easier to fire the culprit altogether — even if he or she is a megastar.

Today Chaostrophic presents you with 14 stories about the antics of well-known actors that resulted in their dismissal during filming. As a bonus, you will find out which international star was dismissed from a movie, only to be apologetically reinstated!

Natalie Portman — Claire Danes

Natalie Portman was approved for the role in Romeo + Juliet, and she was supposed to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio. But after filming began, the filmmakers discovered that the 14-year-old actress’s miniature complexion made her look like a little girl next to the 21-year-old Leo. According to Portman herself, this made some of the scenes smack of child molestation. In the end, Natalie had to be dismissed and replaced by Claire Danes.

Robert Downey Jr. — George Clooney

One of the main roles in the movie Gravity was given to the inimitable Robert Downey Jr., famous for his improvisations in front of the camera. But a few days into the filming, it became clear that the actor wasn’t suitable to play the character. In the words of the film’s director, Alfonso Cuaron, "Robert is incredibly talented, but the technological aspects of the movie presented a big obstacle to his style of acting." So Downey Jr. was replaced by George Clooney.

Megan Fox — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

During the filming of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Megan Fox and the director, Michael Bay, had a major row. And all because Bay demanded that Fox get a suntan and gain 7-9 pounds for the role. In response, the actress likened Bay to Hitler and called him "the most horrible person to work with!" As a result, Megan was promptly fired, and the leggy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley got the part.

Nicole Kidman — Jodie Foster

Nicole Kidman spent 18 days on the set of Panic Room playing the mother, but it all came to nothing. The actress had to resign from the film due to complications with a knee injury she suffered while starring in Moulin Rouge! In the end, Jodie Foster got the part.

Ryan Gosling — Mark Wahlberg

Ryan Gosling wasn’t fired from the movie set — he had to resign his role a day before filming began. However, that still makes him a worthy candidate for our compilation. The actor intentionally put on weight in the run-up to the shooting of The Lovely Bones because he had his own idea of what his character should look like. The director, Peter Jackson, did not appreciate Gosling’s creative approach and sent the actor packing. Subsequently, Mark Wahlberg was signed up for the role.

Samantha Morton — Scarlett Johansson

In this case, the director felt dissatisfied not with the actress herself but with her voice. Originally, the seductive operating system in the movie Her was meant to be portrayed by Samantha Morton. But during post-production, Spike Jonze suddenly realized that her voice was not of the type that Joaquin Phoenix’s character could’ve fallen in love with. As a result, the director invited Scarlett Johansson to redub the computer. All that remained of Samantha in the finished picture was the name of the operating system.

Richard Gere — Perry King

The drama The Lords of Flatbush (1974) would have become 25-year-old Richard Gere’s movie acting debut...if not for his behavior on the set. Just a few days after the filming started, the young actor managed to quarrel with half of the crew and get into fights with most of the actors. The last straw was when he had fisticuffs with Sylvester Stallone over a trifling matter (Gere dropped a particularly greasy piece of chicken on Sly’s pants, apparently on purpose). After that, the future megastar was shown the door, and the leading role went to Perry King.

James Remar — Michael Biehn

During the filming of Aliens, James Cameron suddenly fired James Remar and replaced him with Michael Biehn. The official reason given was "creative differences." Many years later, Remar himself revealed that, back then, he was arrested for drug possession, and this forced Cameron to look for a replacement.

James Purefoy — Hugo Weaving

James Purefoy spent 6 weeks wearing the Guy Fawkes mask during the filming of V for Vendetta. However, the (then) brothers Wachowski decided that his voice was not menacing enough, and they started to look for a replacement. They contacted Hugo Weaving (with whom they’d worked on The Matrix) and reshot/redubbed all of Purefoy’s scenes with that actor.

Stuart Townsend — Viggo Mortensen

4 days into the filming of The Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson realized that Stuart Townsend looked way too young as Aragorn. So he parted ways with the actor and gave the role to Viggo Mortensen, who later became world famous thanks to starring in the trilogy.

Anne Hathaway — Katherine Heigl

At first, the lead role in the movie Knocked Up was offered to Anne Hathaway. But, as soon as filming began, the actress learned that the movie involved a childbirth scene. Anne decided she didn’t want to be involved, quarreled with the director, and, consequently, her role went to Katherine Heigl.

Jean-Claude Van Damme — Kevin Peter Hall

When Van Damme was 27, he agreed to appear as the Predator in the eponymous 1987 movie, which also starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. But 2 days after filming got underway, "The Muscles From Brussels" left the project. He did so because he hated the idea of spending many days in a stifling costume, playing a character with no lines, whose face was to remain hidden behind a mask for the entire movie. The producers were quite happy with this decision because it turned out that Van Damme’s Predator looked too short and scrawny next to Schwarzenegger, thus losing the intimidation effect. Besides, Jean-Claude had beaten up a stuntman on set. In the end, the role of the Predator went to Kevin Peter Hall. By the way, if you want to see rare footage of Van Damme in the Predator costume, click here.

Kevin Spacey — Christopher Plummer

Kevin Spacey became one of the first Hollywood celebrities to be accused in the ongoing sex scandal. This resulted in Netflix kicking him out of the House of Cards TV series, in which the actor played the lead role. Director Ridley Scott also decided to ditch the tainted star, cutting all the scenes with Spacey from his new movie, "All the Money in the World." Since the film is scheduled to be released on December 22, those scenes are currently being reshot at a frantic pace with another actor: Christopher Plummer.

Eric Stoltz — Michael J. Fox

For 5 whole weeks, Eric Stoltz played Marty McFly on the set of the first Back to the Future movie. But, according to director Robert Zemeckis, "Stoltz’s performance lacked that special something to make the character really funny and memorable." The role was finally handed over to Michael J. Fox, and producer Steven Spielberg immediately approved the new choice. The studio had to reshoot the material from scratch, but, as we’d all agree, the result was worth it!

Bonus: Christian Bale was first replaced with Leonardo DiCaprio and then asked to come back.

In 2000, the producers of American Psycho approved a little-known Christian Bale for the title role. But the project suddenly attracted the attention of the famous Leonardo DiCaprio, and Christian was promptly fired, along with the director, Mary Harron, who defended the original choice. However, DiCaprio’s fans convinced the actor that his involvement in the movie would spoil the romantic image he acquired after Titanic. In the end, both Christian Bale and Mary Harron returned to the set.

Texas Teacher Reportedly Made Out With Male Student Multiple Times, Also Provided Booze

Texas Teacher Reportedly Made Out With Male Student Multiple Times, Also Provided Booze

31-year-old former Sharyland Pioneer High School teacher Vanessa McManness is the latest instructor to get arrested for having inappropriate relations with a student. According to ValleyCentral.com, McManness was arrested last Monday and charged with improper relationship between an educator and student, as well as indecency with a child.

The report notes there were several make out sessions between McManness and the teenage student during the summer of 2017. She also provided him with beer and Malibu rum at her home — additional details from Valley Central:

The alleged victim reported to McAllen police last month that on “numerous occasions” during the summer of 2017, he “made out” with 31-year-old Vanessa Sarai McManness of McAllen, a former teacher at Sharyland Pioneer High School, according to the criminal complaint.

The victim—assigned the pseudonym “Michael” in the criminal complaint— said he first met McManness when he attended Sharyland North Middle School. Michael further reported that McManness shared her Snapchat username to “keep in touch”.

Police say on two occasions during the summer, McManness provided Michael with beer and Malibu liquor at her house in McAllen. On one of those occasions, police say, McManness touched Michael in a sexual manner.

It goes without saying, but giving out your Snap username to a student is a surefire way to lose your job down the line. Keep your thirst in check, teachers — these scandalous relationships never end well.

The Brownsville Herald reports McManness was released after posting $10,000 bail. She is obviously now out of a job.

Police Officer Fired For Not Shooting Black Suspect Wins $175,000

Police Officer Fired For Not Shooting Black Suspect Wins $175,000

A former police officer who alleged he was fired for not shooting a black suspect during a standoff has settled a wrongful termination suit with his former department for $175,000.

“At the end of the day, I’m happy to put this chapter of my life to bed,” said Stephen Mader, a former officer in Weirton, West Virginia, who was also granted a pledge that his former employer would not prevent him from obtaining a new job in law enforcement elsewhere.

Mader was the first responding officer to a 2016 call involving RJ Williams, a 23-year-old black man believed to be suicidal. Mader, who is white, made the determination that Williams did not pose an immediate threat to him or fellow officers, even though he was holding a gun. Mader began trying to talk Williams down.

“He wasn’t angry,” Mader previously told the Guardian. “He wasn’t aggressive, he didn’t seem in position to want to use a gun against anybody. He never pointed it at me. I didn’t perceive him as an imminent threat.”

But amid Mader’s attempts to convince Williams to drop the weapon, two veteran officers arrived on the scene and, almost immediately, shot and killed Williams.

“We need to give law enforcement officers tools to effectively serve their communities. That means we need to invest in de-escalation training, implicit bias training and crisis intervention training. Hopefully the resolution of this lawsuit will send a message to the City of Weirton and police departments across the country that our communities deserve thoughtful, compassionate, transparent law enforcement.”

Mader, an Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran, received a termination letter 10 days later, which claimed that he failed to respond to the threat. “The unfortunate reality of police work is that making any decision is better than making no decision at all,” it read.

Mader disagreed and filed a suit alleging wrongful termination. “No police officer should ever lose their job – or have their name dragged through the mud – for choosing to talk to, rather than shoot a fellow citizen,” Mader’s attorney Timothy O’Brien said after the settlement.

After the suit was filed, the city argued that Mader was actually terminated for two other prior incidents, and not for holding fire against Williams. This claim did not square with termination letter, however, which directly and repeatedly chastised Mader for not shooting.

The city said in a statement that the decision to settle was a call made by its insurance provider, and that it stood by its decision to fire Mader.

A call to the attorney representing Williams’ family was not immediately returned.

12 Of The Funniest Things People Have Been Fired For

12 Of The Funniest Things People Have Been Fired For

If you're gonna get fired, go big. Go out with a story. Nay, a LEGACY.

1. khegiobridge -- "Ah, this one is perfect, thank you!"

Cooked next door to another restaurant. Knew the day cook; he was ...unstable. So, lunch rush, a customer sends a steak back; not done enough. Sends it back again: too done. Customer gets a new steak, and sends it back again. The cook grabs the steak off the plate and throws it across the crowded restaurant and hits the customer sitting, so help me, 40 feet away, in the head. Yep, he got fired.

2. Blood_Warrior -- Those things are important, you see.

I didn't see it, but heard about it. The manager of this store where my friend used to work at was fired for forgetting to turn in bank deposits. He had several days worth of deposits in his car. He put them in his car and forgot about them.

3. 86thisredditaccount -- Your food can wait, this man has rad boots to walk in.

Guy told me he couldn't really move fast (line cook) because his motorcycle boots were too heavy to walk in.

4. GreenBreastedMango -- The boss didn't ask for HER doctor's note, to be fair.

A girl called in sick. So the boss asks for a doctors note. The girl gives a doctors note. Turns out the girl just got one from google images or something like that, with an address from New York. We worked in Texas.

5. ex-ape -- Don't hang dong.

Girl showed up for a 6am shift still rolling on mdma and whatever other stuff she was on. Pupils like saucers, sweaty, and completely incoherent. She spent the first hour of her shift pacing madly in the kitchen, then the manager came in and she was gone.

At another job a Manager somehow thought it was funny to pull a dudes pants down during a morning huddle. He got the undies too so this dude was hanging dong in front of the entire warehouse staff, never saw either of them again.

6. DiddyMao20XX -- Porn of all persuasions is usually grounds for a firing.

I was the overnight manager for a call centre for a while.

I had to terminate an employee for looking at porn on the work computers.

He came back the next day threatening to sue the company for discrimination claiming I fired him for being gay.

I had to sit in an office, with 2 grown adults ( the ex-employee, and the HR director) and explain that I fired him for looking at porn on a work computer.

The gayness of the porn didn't factor into the decision.

7. allenidaho -- Eh, it's Arbys. What do you expect?

I got "fired" from a job at Arbys when I was a teenager WHILE I was quitting. I had worked there about a week and decided it really sucked balls. So I went into the Manager's office before my next shift to quit.
I started with "Hi. Can we talk? I don't think this job is for me..."
I don't know if this Manager was already having a bad day, but she suddenly got pissed. Her face turned a bit red and she snapped "Turn in your shirt and I.D. Badge! Just get out of here! You're fired!"
So I walked out of her office, a bit stunned. Turned my stuff in at the admin building for the company that ran the chain.
All in all, a pretty weird experience.

8. LordFarquadOnAQuad -- But the POOL WAS DYING!

One girl who I work with when I was a life guard. Got fired for taking the portable defibrillator into a pool.

9. GeekPunk00 -- This man was eating WELL.

Wasn't that funny but more unbelievable. When I worked at a Grocery Store for my first job, we had an employee get fired for stealing around $14,000 worth of groceries, don't know if they ever pressed charges though. He worked the closing shift so he would stash what he wanted in the back where there weren't cameras, bring it up in a box when we closed, act like he paid for it earlier even brandishing a receipt (He would only pay for two or three of the items then walk out with the rest later). This continued for a long time until they installed new security cameras. I still can't believe he got away with it for so long.

10. rockystaircase -- "Oh that? That's just a large potato chip from the sky."

At my very first job, I worked in a very very old fast food place. We had an auditor come in, and I was doing portion preps when the auditor walked by, and a piece of the ceiling fell into my food tray. Manager got canned after that.

11. maddogbrown -- That's the way we should all wish to get fired.

I didn't see it, but there was a stoner at my work who got high on the job. He didn't get fired for being high though, it was for getting high then trying to do a wheelie in the forklift on the main road outside my work

12. ISaidRightMeowDammit -- He just wanted a taste of the rainbow.

I worked at UPS and was in management. My skittles got stuck in the vending machine, so I started shaking it, like in high school. It didn't work, so I started putting my shoulder into the machine and eventually, smashed through the glass in front of about 40 to 50 other employees. Getting walked out was awkward af.

Traffic Cops Fired After Forgoing $19,000 In Parking Tickets In Exchange For Free Pizza

Traffic Cops Fired After Forgoing $19,000 In Parking Tickets In Exchange For Free Pizza

No one likes to get a parking ticket, that is why you pop numerous blood vessels when you return to your parked car only to see a ticket under your windshield wipers. But it sounds like employees at Sicilia Pizza in Salt Lake City never had to worry about getting parking tickets because four cops would forgive their illegal parking as long as they got free pizza.

For the last two years, Officer Jeff Clegg and three of his colleagues have accepted free food from the pizzeria in order for the establishment employees to avoid parking violations. As much a $19,000 worth of fines — just under 800 tickets at $25 each — were uncollected.

“If I see a menu of the restaurant in the lower left-hand corner of the vehicle, it is either an employee or the owner’s (of the restaurant) vehicle and we are not to cite those vehicles,” Clegg told KUTV. “It got to the point that we just go in the back (of the restaurant) and get what you want, so we would go behind the counter and get our own pizza.”

The officers would only hand out warnings, but not actually write out any tickets.

The free pizza deal was made between Clegg and restaurant owner Amrol Hararah, and was discovered during the station’s probe of Clegg’s firing, which he claimed was due to his complaints of workplace bullying. Yeah, that was lie. Clegg eventually admitted it was because of all that free pizza he got.

When Does Art Become Pornography? Utah Teacher Fired After Showing Students Classical Paintings Which Contained Nudity [NSFW ? YBTJ]

When Does Art Become Pornography? Utah Teacher Fired After Showing Students Classical Paintings Which Contained Nudity [NSFW ? YBTJ]

A Utah art teacher was fired amid complaints that images of classical paintings containing nudity were passed out in a classroom and seen by sixth-graders, a newspaper reported.

Mateo Rueda said he wasn't aware that a set of educational postcards from the elementary school library contained a few works depicting nudity when he handed them out during a lesson, the Herald Journal newspaper said Thursday.

He removed the cards when they made students uncomfortable, the paper reported .

"This is not material at all that I would use. I had no idea," Rueda said.

He said he has requested a hearing and plans to appeal his termination to clear his reputation.

A few days after the Dec. 4 lesson, police went to Lincoln Elementary School in Hyrum, about 80 miles (129 kilometers) north of Salt Lake City, to investigate a complaint that Rudea was showing pornography to students.

Cache County deputies found Principal Jeni Buist shredding postcards — at the request of the school district — that contained nudity, said Sheriff Chad Jensen.

Deputies showed some of the images to prosecutors, who decided they were not pornography, Jenson said.

The Cache County School District declined to comment, saying it's a personnel matter.

The two images seen by students were the Impressionist-era portrait "Iris Tree" by Italian painter Amedeo Modigliani and the Rococo-style partial nude "Odalisque" by 18th-century artist Francois Boucher, the teacher said.

Parent Venessa Rose Pixton said she's upset because Rueda's handling of the situation belittled students, including her 11-year-old son.

"He said Mr. Mateo even told the class 'There's nothing wrong with female nipples. You guys need to grow up and be mature about this,'" Pixton said.

Rueda denied making that statement and said he simply explained the human body is often portrayed in art displayed in museums.

Some parents are supporting Rueda.

Kamee Jensen wrote a letter to the Herald Journal defending him and said her daughter wasn't offended by the pictures.

"She was just very upset that her teacher was in trouble," Jensen said.

Why 15 TV Shows Were Forced To Fire Lead Actors

Why 15 TV Shows Were Forced To Fire Lead Actors

Successful TV shows only become successful as a result of great casting decisions, intriguing plot, and collaboration during the filming process. However, sometimes the producers of wildly popular TV shows have no other choice but to fire the actors that make their show a success.

The difficult decision to fire an actor from a TV show is usually made after the actor has been involved in a huge scandal that could taint not only the show but also the studio or the channel that airs the show.

As you can imagine, these decisions pretty much ruin the reputation and career of the actors who are fired. After all, would you want to work with an actor that was involved in a huge scandal or was notorious for erratic behavior and causing tension on set? We didn’t think so. And neither do studios and producers. Here are 15 TV Shows That Were Forced To Fire Lead Actors.

15. Selma Blair Was Fired Because She Criticized Charlie Sheen’s Work Ethic

The actress Selma Blair was fired from the TV show Anger Management and replaced by the actress Laura Bell Bundy. Apparently, Charlie Sheen dismissed Blair via a text message in which he called her a c**t after he learned that she was going behind his back and criticizing his work ethic.

However, Sheen gave a different reason as to why Blair had to leave the show – “One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because [the show] was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the Two and a Half [Men] character and thought the Anger Managementcharacter was a little dull. So, um, that is not the case anymore. Her character leaves, and I start circling the drain. So it’s really fun to watch and hella fun to play.”

14. Janet Hubert Was Fired For Wanting Fresh Prince To Center Around Her Character

The actress Janet Hubert played Aunt Viv in Fresh Prince of Bel Air in the first three seasons only to be replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid in the last three seasons of the show. So what happened? Why was Hubert replaced?

Apparently, Hubert was not the easiest person to work with and was often difficult on set. In addition, it seems that the actress had a feud with the actor Will Smith which resulted in the termination of her contract.

Smith later said – “I can say straight up that Janet Hubert wanted the show to be “The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air Show” because I know she is going to dog me in the press. She has basically gone from a quarter of a million dollars a year to nothing. She’s mad now but she’s been mad all along. She said once, ‘I’ve been in the business for 10 years and this snotty-nosed punk comes along and gets a show.’”

13. Thomas Gibson Was Fired After He Kicked One Of The Show’s Writers

Sometimes it’s not verbal abuse but physical abuse that lead to actors being fired from major TV shows. Take the actor Thomas Gibson, for example. In 2016 he was dismissed from Criminal Minds – a TV show that he had starred in for 11 seasons – because he kicked one of the show’s writers.

Apparently, violence ensued after Gibson got into an argument with one of the show’s writers when he was directing an episode for season 12 of the show – “There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and we always will.”

12. Kevin Spacey Was Fired After Assault Claims Surfaced

House of Cards fans were shocked to learn earlier this year that the actor Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual abuse. According to Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp, Spacey acted inappropriately towards him when he was only 14 years old (Spacey was 12 years older than Rapp at the time). Spacey apologized and came out as gay, however, that did not save his career.

To the shock of many, Spacey was fired from House of Cards. However, Netflix soon decided that it wanted nothing to do with Spacey whatsoever – “Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey.”

11. Nicollette Sheridan Sued Marc Cherry After She Was Fired From Desperate Housewives

After Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan was fired from the hit TV show, she was quick to sue the show’s creator Marc Cherry. According to Cherry, the reasons they decided to fire Sheridan included cost-saving as well as the actress’s unprofessional behavior.

However, in court, Sheridan claimed that the reason Cherry fired her was due to a physical altercation they had. According to Sheridan, after a funny line was taken out from her script she approached Cherry about it. However, he was in no mood to discuss script changes – “Mr. Cherry approached, he took his right hand, and he hit me upside the head. I was stunned I couldn’t believe he just hit me.” The case has since been dismissed due to lack of proof.

10. Isaiah Washington Was Fired For His Anti-LGBT Slurs

Grey’s Anatomy’s fans were outraged after they learned that the actor Isaiah Washington had called his co-star T.R. Knight, who later came out as gay, a “fag**t”. Later, Washington once again used a homophobic slur at the Golden Globes.

As you can imagine, Washington was fired shortly after the two incidents took place. This, in turn, pretty much ruined his career – “After the incident at the Golden Globes, everything just fell apart. I lost everything. I couldn’t afford to have an agent …I couldn’t afford to have a publicist …I couldn’t afford to continue.”

9. Columbus Short Was Fired After He Threatened To Kill His Wife

In 2014, the actor Columbus Short was fired from Scandal as a result of his domestic violence. Of course, Short did not reveal the reason for his dismissal from the show.

He merely said – “At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble in television today. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately, the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast…”

However, the reason for Short’s dismissal was publicized shortly after. Apparently, the actor had put a knife to his wife’s throat and threatened to kill her. She then took out a restraining order against him and pretty much ruined his Scandal career.

8. Charlie Sheen Was Fired For Substance Abuse And Derogatory Remarks

The actor Charlie Sheen was the star of the TV show Two and a Half Men. However, he was fired from the show due to his erratic behavior which included making derogatory remarks about the show, drugs and alcohol abuse, and his inability to continue on with his duties on the show. As a result, Sheen was ultimately replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

Warner Bros studios sent Sheen’s attorney, Marty Singer, a letter in which they explained Sheen’s dismissal – “Your client has been engaged in dangerously self-destructive conduct and appears to be very ill. For months before the suspension of production, Mr. Sheen’s erratic behavior escalated while his condition deteriorated. His declining condition undermined the production in numerous and significant ways. Warner Bros. would not, could not, and should not attempt to continue ‘business as usual’ while Mr. Sheen destroys himself as the world watches.”

7. Jessica Biel Was Fired Because Of A Raunchy Photo Shoot

The stunning actress Jessica Biel rose to fame after playing Mary in the TV show 7th Heaven. However, Biel never got to finish the show because she was written off. So what happened?

Well, in 2000, Biel posed for the cover of Gear. In the shoot the actress was scantily clad which caused her TV show dad, the actor Stephen Collins, to call the photo shoot “child pornography.”

As you can imagine, the show wanted nothing to do with the shoot and thus wrote Biel’s character off in the fifth season. Biel has since confessed that she regretted the photo shoot – “First of all, I wasn’t happy with those pictures either. I saw pictures that were different from the ones that ran in the magazine. We thought the layout was going to be much more subdued. I’m talking about how much was shown of my chest area. So I was shocked and my family was heartbroken about the pictures that ran. It was really difficult, but you know, it’s over now and I’m OK with it and my family knows that that’s never ever going to happen again.”

6. Lisa Bonet Was Fired After She Appeared In A Film Containing Graphic Scenes

The actress Lisa Bonet played Denise Huxtable in the 80s TV show The Cosby Show. Fans of The Cosby Show loved Bonet and considered her character one of the best. But apparently, the actress wasn’t that easy to work with. She often turned up late on set and sometimes failed to show up at all.

So it is no surprise that Bonet was eventually fired from the wildly popular show. However, it wasn’t just her unprofessional behavior that led to her dismissal. During the show’s run, Bonet also appeared in graphic sex scenes in a film called Angel Heart. By doing so, she broke the moral clause of The Cosby Show contract and thus had to be fired.

5. Robert Downey Jr. Was Fired From Ally McBeal Because Of His Substance Abuse

In 2001, the actor Robert Downey Jr. was fired from the TV show Ally McBeal due to his drug problems. The actor was fired only a few hours after he was arrested by the police on suspicion that he was under the influence of drugs.

Before the incident that caused the actor to be written off, Downey Jr. was already pardoned once by the show’s producers for his drug problems.

Naturally, the producers did not want more scandals and thus decided to let the actor go – “We are wrapping up the stories on the final few episodes of Ally McBeal for the season without him. Robert is a unique talent and a very special person. And we wish him the best and hope for his full recovery.”

4. Taylor Momsen Was Fired From Gossip Girl Due To Her Erratic Behavior On Set

Who can forget the shocking transformation of the actress Taylor Momsen? It wasn’t just her appearance that changed – her behavior changed also. So it is no surprise that the producers of the popular TV show Gossip Girldecided to fire her.

Apparently, Momsen’s behavior on set was erratic and unpredictable which made it increasingly difficult to work with her – “Taylor wasn’t on set filming much this season, but when she did show up she wasn’t very level-headed. The show’s executives didn’t trust that she was really giving it her all, so they dismissed her as a regular.”

3. Kim Delaney Was Fired From CSI: Miami Due To A Lack Of Chemistry With David Caruso

The actress Kim Delaney was fired from the TV show CSI: Miami only after 10 episodes. According to the show’s producers, they decided to fire Delaney due to lack of chemistry between her and the actor David Caruso.

While that may be true, other sources suggest that Delaney’s drunk driving and arrest may have contributed to the producer’s decision to write the actress off the show.

However, Delaney apparently believes that it was Caruso who is to blame for her being fired. Apparently, the two constantly argued – “Kim thinks David went to the producers and had them choose between them. David obviously is the one the producers are sticking with.”

2. Shannen Doherty Was Fired Twice During Her Career After Fights With Co-Stars

The actress Shannen Doherty was actually fired twice from TV shows she appeared in. In 2011, Doherty and the producers of the TV show Charmed decided that it was best if they ceased working together due to tensions on set.

She also apparently caused tension on set on the show Beverly Hills, 90210. Doherty played Brenda, a character that was supposed to remain on the show for its entire duration.

But her erratic behavior and her feud with Jennie Garth, which led to physical violence, made the atmosphere during filming unbearable. Tori Spelling later admitted that she rang her father, the show’s producer, and asked him to fire Doherty.

1. Jamie Lynn Was Fired From Zoey 101 After Getting Pregnant

Britney Spears’s little sister Jamie Lynn Spears would have probably become a famous actress had she not gotten pregnant at the age of sixteen. You see, back then Spears was starring in a TV show called Zoey 101 where she played the main character.

However, as we all know, in the midst of filming she got pregnant with her then-boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Naturally, the show could not continue – Zoey 101 was for kids after all and a plot line that involved pregnancy would not have been suitable. Naturally, Spears had to be fired.

But because Spears was the main character, the show couldn’t go on without her either and the whole show had to be canceled.

Pizza Delivery Girl Gets Request For Joke Inside Box Then Gets Fired When Recipients Get Offended

Pizza Delivery Girl Gets Request For Joke Inside Box Then Gets Fired When Recipients Get Offended

Here’s something that’s almost as disgusting as ordering anchovies on your pie.

According to WJLA, a Pizza Hut delivery driver is out of job thanks to a Stafford County, Virginia mother and her sons who asked for a joke to be included on the inside of their pizza box and then got so butthurt by the one the delivery girl wrote that they complained on social media and got her fired.

What was the joke that offended the mother so much that she felt the need to blast it out to the masses? You guessed it:

“What do a pizza delivery driver and a gynecologist have in common?”

Now the mother has the nerve to bitch about being “cyber-bullied” because of her actions, something that she probably should have thought about before doing more than simply ordering a fucking pizza and that’s it. Still, she’s holding firm to the notion that she did nothing wrong anywhere along the way.

“It’s an inappropriate joke,” she said. “There’s a time and place for everything. My pizza box is not one of them. It’s a lesson learned.”

Absolutely heartless.

If anything, we see him as a popular actor, with producers fighting over him to be in their movies. Gosling was set to star in The Lovely Bones as Jack Salmon, father of Susie Salmon, in which the book and movie center around her murder. There was a miscommunication between Gosling and producers, as Gosling believed that Jack should’ve been a little heavy-set. He went on to gain an immense amount of weight, eating junk food and drinking melted ice cream to put on the weight. When production began and producers saw his weight gain, they were angry with Gosling. As a result, they felt he no longer fit the role and fired him. He was then replaced with Mark Wahlberg.

However, Fox made some comments about director Michael Bay, saying he was a nightmare to work with and that he was like Hitler, and very controlling, wanting things done his way and his way only. Well, those comments cost Fox the role, as she was fired not long after making them. She was then replaced with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and the rest was history. Bay claimed it was more than just her comments, and that she just wasn’t interested on set, making her hard to work with. Regardless of whether or not what Megan said was true or not, Transformers was not the same without her.

13. Isaiah Washington – Grey’s Anatomy

via: popsugar.com

During an argument, Washington called Knight a homophobic slur, and as if he didn’t learn his lesson the first time, he used the term again at the Golden Globes. As a result, he was booted from the show in 2007. His career took a huge hit and spiraled downward, all because of his derogatory comments. However, Washington did come back to the show, only it was seven years after he was fired. That should teach him to watch what he says!

She also landed a role in the movie Angel Heart where she shared a rated R scene with Mickey Rourke. She also took part in a topless photoshoot for Interview magazine. 11. Erinn Hayes – Kevin Can Wait

via: latimes.com

Fans loved her so much that producers decided to do something about it. When the second season started up again, Hayes was fired and her character was killed off to make room for Remini’s new permanent role on the show. Fans were upset to see Hayes go, as she had a huge role. Not only was she married to James, but a mother of three. In this case, it just goes to show that no matter what, people will always go back to what they know, and that’s James and Remini together on the small screen.

10. Gary Dourdan – CSI

via: cnn.com

Known for playing the ever so handsome and dreamy Warrick Brown on one of our favorite crime shows, CSI, Gary Dourdansoon found himself without a job. Knowing how popular he was, Dourdan got a bit cocky when it came to negotiating his contract. Apparently he was asking for way too much, and producers wouldn’t bend to his wishes. As a result, they decided to fire him from the show. At the end of season eight, Dourdan’s character was shot and left for dead, ultimately killing him off of the show completely. After being let go from the show, Dourdan struggled financially, and actually had to file for bankruptcy. There’s a lesson to be learned here, and it’s as simple as this: don’t be greedy.

9. Robert Downey Jr. – Ally McBeal

via: cbr.com

Robert Downey Jr. wasn’t always the Iron Man that we’ve come to know and love today. For a period of time he was on Ally McBeal, playing her love interest. Downey was struggling immensely with drugs and alcohol. In 2001 he was fired from the show just hours after being arrested for being under the influence of drugs while in public. Apparently this had been the last straw for producers, as he had also been arrested a few months prior on drug charges. Downey was a great addition to the show — winning awards and bringing up views. Naturally, it was sad to see him leave under such poor circumstances.

via: today.com

However, that all came to a screeching halt when it was discovered that she had used many racial slurs in the past. The information had come to light when she had admitted in a deposition to using the slurs. The Food Network acted quickly, announcing that when Deen’s contract ended at the end of that month, they would not be renewing it. As a result, the ever so popular Paula’s Home Cooking came to an end. She issued many public apologies, but her show was never brought back.

7. Eric Stoltz – Back To The Future

via: youtube.com

Marty McFly wasn’t always played by Michael J. Fox. In fact, the character from Back To The Future was originally played by Eric Stoltz. When they first began filming the iconic movie, the producers originally wanted Fox for the role, however due to other obligations, he wasn’t able to take on the role, hence Stoltz taking the part on. They filmed for a few weeks with Stoltz, but they weren’t happy with the product. Producers talked it over and decided that they were going to let Stoltz go, regardless of the fact that the had filmed a number of scenes over a few weeks. They were willing to throw it all away for Fox, and they did just that. They eventually let Stoltz go and brought on Fox, and the movie was re-filmed with Fox as the Marty McFly we know and love today.

6. Taylor Momsen – Gossip Girl

via: wallup.net

Taylor Momsen is known for playing the role of little Jenny Humphrey on the hit TV show, based on the book series, Gossip Girl. We watched Momsen grow up on the show, and go through her awkward stages and turn into her own person. That person, however, was much different than the innocent teenager we were first introduced to. Momsen started a band, The Pretty Reckless, and got heavily involved in music, smoking, and the world of rock ‘n’ roll. According to producers and others on set, she developed an attitude problem, and diva behavior. She wasn’t interested in learning her lines, and was always on her phone. She had become really hard to work with. As a result, producers decided that she needed to go, and fired her as a main cast member, only needing her when absolutely necessary. We guess she really isn’t like her innocent character after all.

5. Shannen Doherty – 90210/Charmed

via: digitalspy.com

Shannen Doherty starred in some of our favorite 90s shows. Known for her role as Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210, she apparently had many issues behind the scenes on the set. Many people claimed that she was an absolute nightmare to work with, and had a constant attitude. As a result, she was fired during the fourth season of the show due to her bad behavior behind the scenes. Following her departure from Beverly Hills, 90210, she joined the cast of another popular show, Charmed. Her bad attitude and nightmare behavior didn’t disappear after her firing the first time. It actually carried over, and as a result she bumped heads with her co-star Alyssa Milano. She was also fired from Charmed, and her character was killed off during season three.

4. Lindsay Lohan – The Other Side

via: vanityfair.com

Lindsay Lohan has been through a lot; struggling with her arrests and DUIs and her many other problems, she had many ups and downs in her career. Naturally, when she was cast to be in the film, The Other Side in 2010, she had to be excited to book her first gig for the first time in a few years. Unfortunately for her, that didn’t last very long, and she was eventually fired from the movie. Unlike our other stars fired from the set, Lohan didn’t have some temper tantrum, or diva attitude. Instead, she was fired because producers didn’t think that she was very “bankable.” Lohan was dropped from the movie, and replaced, only to continue to struggle to revive her career yet again.

3. Conan O’Brien – The Tonight Show

via: eonline.com

Conan O’Brien found himself in a lot of drama in 2010, when there was a disagreement as to who would host The Tonight Show. Jay Leno had been the host since 1992, and NBC promised O’Brien, the host of Late Night since 1993, that he would take over as host of The Tonight Show in 2009, if he renewed his contract that was coming to an end. Once 2009 rolled around, Leno left as host of The Tonight Show and O’Brien took over. NBC didn’t want to lose Leno, and gave him another show that would air before The Tonight Show during prime time. Ratings weren’t great for both shows, and NBC proposed to move Leno back up to The Tonight Show’s original time slot of 11:35 pm, and move O’Brien back a half hour. O’Brien wasn’t happy about the change, and refused to move time slots. As a result, NBC decided to let O’Brien go with a $45 million settlement, and made Leno the host of The Tonight Show yet again. O’Brien then moved to TBS to host Conan. Talk about drama!

2. Leah Remini – The Talk

via: usmagazine.com

Leah Remini has a huge personality, so it was only natural that she would be perfect as a talk show host. Apparently the producers of the hit afternoon talk show, The Talk thought so too. Remini was one of the first original co-hosts during the first season of the show. Unfortunately, things didn’t last very long for her, and producers fired her from the show after the first season. After leaving the show, Remini’s former co-host, Sharon Osbourne shared her opinion on the departure, telling The Howard Stern Show “Some people don’t really know who they are, and you have to know who you are when you’re in something like this. You can’t pretend to be something you’re not. You have to know your brand. You can’t be all things to everyone.” A feud broke out between the two, with Remini claiming that Osbourne had a hand in her firing.

1. Charlie Sheen – Two and a Half Men

via: entertainment-news.online

We all know of Charlie Sheen’s infamous meltdowns, with him going on about “tiger blood” and “winning.” Apparently his behavior and excessive drug use was the last straw for the producers of the hit show, Two and a Half Men. Because of his drug use, amongst other things, Sheen was uncooperative on set, and unable to do his job. Not to mention, he had made a number of nasty comments toward the show’s producer, Chuck Lorre. At first, they were willing to work with Sheen, suspending production so he could get some help and attend rehab. They were frustrated with his behavior, and as a result fired him from the show. It was shocking to fans that the star of the show was fired, but it was to be expected. Ashton Kutcher went on to replace Sheen, changing the dynamic of the show completely. We guess he wasn’t “winning” after all.

ABC News Suspends Brian Ross Over Flynn/Trump Report

ABC News Suspends Brian Ross Over Flynn/Trump Report

ABC News on Saturday suspended investigative reporter Brian Ross for four weeks without pay for his erroneous report on Michael Flynn, which it called a "serious error." Ross, citing an unnamed confidant of Flynn, the former national security adviser, reported Friday that then-candidate Donald Trump had directed Flynn to contact the Russians. That would have been an explosive development in the investigation into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to interfere in the election, notes the AP. But hours later, Ross clarified his report on the evening news, saying that his source now said Trump had done so not as a candidate, but as president-elect. At that point, he said, Trump had asked Flynn to contact the Russians about issues including working together to fight ISIS. ABC was widely criticized for merely clarifying and not correcting the report. It issued a correction later in the evening.

"We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made," the network said. "The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross during the special report had not been fully vetted ... It is vital we get the story right and retain the trust we have built with our audience—these are our core principles. We fell far short of that." The news brought swift reaction from Trump, who tweeted: "Congratulations to @ABC News for suspending Brian Ross for his horrendously inaccurate and dishonest report on the Russia, Russia, Russia Witch Hunt. More Networks and "papers" should do the same with their Fake News!" And while such errors have always been serious, notes one analyst with the Poynter Institute, the stakes are higher "when the president of the United States refers to the press collectively as an enemy of the people," because "the people who support that view will interpret certain acts of journalism as being evidence that the president is correct."

Her iPhone X Video Went Viral - Then Her Dad Was Fired

Her iPhone X Video Went Viral - Then Her Dad Was Fired

Apple has fired an engineer after his daughter posted a video of a top-secret iPhone X. The Verge reports last week's sneak peek on YouTube of the latest iPhone went viral and got Brooke Amelia Peterson's dad sacked. Sites such as 9 to 5 Mac urged readers to view the hands-on demo — "probably our best look yet" — at the much-anticipated device that TechRadar notes will hit stores on Nov. 3. In a teary mea culpa, Peterson confirms the firing and says her father takes "full responsibility for the one rule that he broke." On a visit to Apple's HQ in Cupertino, Calif., Peterson shot the spot showing her dad's phone in Caffe Macs, which Gizmodo notes is the swanky employee cafeteria. "I made this little innocent video that was just supposed to be a fun memory," she says.

Peterson explains she took it down immediately at Apple's request—but it wasn't fast enough to stop it from triggering a sensation. (Reposts of it are still available.) Apple hasn't commented, but Engadget notes the tech giant generally bans all filming in its public spaces. Other tech companies, too, are touchy about early views of new products: Microsoft wasn't happy about a worker who shared pre-release shots of the Xbox 360. And Peterson's iPhone X was no ordinary phone, but a specialty employee unit with sensitive info like code names. Peterson says she's upset by the insults that followed her first viral video. "Hate on me all you want, but please don't hate on my father," she says, calling her dad "the most honest, most loving, most caring."

Walmart Fires Old Lady For Taking Dollar She Found On Floor

Walmart Fires Old Lady For Taking Dollar She Found On Floor

Let’s get right to it: Walmart may have low prices, but the giant company is a joke.

Frankie Ruffino, an 84-year-old grandma who worked at Walmart as a greeter, was recently fired for the most absurd reason: pocketing a dollar she found on the ground. Ruffino had work at the Walmart in Brenham, Texas, for almost ten years when she got word that she had been terminated.

“I found a dollar bill on the floor, just one dollar bill,” Ruffino tells KHOU, adding that she found the dollar in one of the aisles as she was getting ready to close up for the night.

Once Ruffino arrived to work the next day, her manager asked her if she had “found some money yesterday?” And once Ruffino revealed she did, this is what Ruffino said her manager said:

“She said, ‘I need your badge and your vest,’ you have been let go because of your integrity.’ I said, ‘How am I going to push my walker and walk myself outside?’ I needed the job to take care of myself.”

Damn, that’s cold.

Walmart of course had not response to this at all, but it’s tough to envision a scenario where anyone defends a massive company run by awful humans over an old woman who has worked for 70 years and needs an oxygen tank to live.

Chicago Deli Co-Owner Loses Job Over Vegas Shooting Tweet

Chicago Deli Co-Owner Loses Job Over Vegas Shooting Tweet

A Chicago man has been removed from the Jewish deli his family has owned for three generations after tweeting about the "relief" he felt in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting, the Chicago Tribune reports. "Soon as I heard it was country music, I felt relief," Greg Morelli, co-owner of Max's Deli, tweeted Monday. "White people shooting white people isn't terror...it's community outreach." According to Fox 32, the tweet garnered Morelli death threats and Max's Deli a slew of one-star Yelp reviews. "The owner of this deli is a hateful, vile man," reads one such review. One person stoking anti-Morelli sentiment is Andrew Anglin, the head of neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer, Newsweek reports.

Joey Morelli, Greg's brother and co-owner of Max's Deli along with a cousin, released a statement Thursday saying he would be buying out his brother's share of the business ASAP. "He is out, he has agreed to be out and he is gone," Joey Morelli says. "I love him, but he must move on." Joey says his brother's tweet "created a toxicity around us." But it isn't the first time Greg's actions brought negative attention to Max's Deli. In the wake of the events in Charlottesville, Greg posted a drawing of someone in Nazi garb to the Maxi's Deli website. Greg Morelli says he decided to leave the deli, which he calls "the love of my life," for the good of the business. "They didn't ask for this," he says. He blames "a bunch of people who hate free speech."

Woman Fired From Her Job After 'Inappropriate' Photo Shoot With Her Husband Went Viral

Woman Fired From Her Job After 'Inappropriate' Photo Shoot With Her Husband Went Viral

The world can be a cruel and unfair place. Case-in-point: a woman named Stephanie says she was fired from her job over a series of sexy "boudoir" photos taken of her and her fiancé, Arryn, from Overton, Texas. The photographer Bria Terry of Wolf & Rose Photography posted the photos on Facebook earlier this month where they quickly went viral, winning hearts all over the internet.

The photos were shared over 80,000 times and wracked up thousands of positive comments, many of them praising the photographer and photos for the "body positive" photos showing a "real" woman.

The comments were so positive, people commented with their surprise at the comments being so positive. LOL INTERNET.

Both the photographer and subject raved about the photo shoot in interviews. "I've honestly never seen two people more in love," said Terry of shooting the couple. "The way he looks at her in those photos, that's an all-the-time thing with him. He treats her like she hung the moon and the stars."

And Stephanie confirms. "I wasn’t worrying about how I looked, I was just looking at Arryn and that made me feel confident." "He looks at me all the time, but the way he looked at me during the photo shoot, I could feel it was different because I could focus on him.”

But because no good deed on the internet goes unpunished, there's a caveat. After her photos went viral, Stephanie says that her employer, Austin Bank Texas N.A., informed her they were "concerned" about how the photos would reflect on the company.

"They said I was topless and it was inappropriate and we’re a family-oriented company," said Stephanie, who was wearing a swimsuit bottom and a strapless top for the photos.

Then, Stephanie says she was fired:

There was no defending myself, they had made their decision. I gave over a year to a company that I worked really hard for and then to have them turn on me for doing something so positive, something that I was so proud of – to help myself as a woman – it was hurtful. People were pulling out their phones at work and showing the pictures and that was blamed on me.

Stephanie said she strongly disagrees with their decision to fire her (us, too!). "It’s just disheartening to me because I feel like home life and work life are two totally different things." "I was a model employee, I was moving up fast. I had a promotion within seven months. This one thing, for me, was the reason I was booted."

People Revealed The Most Outrageous Reasons They Got Fired - Some Of Them Deserved It

People Revealed The Most Outrageous Reasons They Got Fired - Some Of Them Deserved It

Chances are you’re going to get fired someday. It may be because of something you did, or just downsizing. It doesn’t matter! So you might as well read these ridiculous terminations stories from redditors while you’re still on the clock.

1. Over at the dollar store, there's so much money it's just magically appearing, and Terboh had to clean up that horrible, horrible situation.

Worked as a cashier at a store were things are generally a dollar. You only get 3 chances per year to be off on your register by $2.00, positive or negative. Was on my 3rd strike in December, at this point promoted to assistant manager, found an extra $20 in my drawer when I counted it down at the end of the night. Recounted a few times, still there. Ended up recording it, rather than taking the $20 off camera. Got fired for it.

TL;DR: I got fired for not stealing $20.

2. TheCrazyCatLady_ was fired for not being a camel.

I used to work for a large discounted designer type shop. It was the middle of summer, and I worked in the warehouse tagging clothes. After a week, I get in and there are no cups at the water machine, and we're not allowed to bring in bottles. I report that there aren't any cups. A couple hours later, still no cups. At lunch, it's so busy you can't sit down whilst you eat. After being on my feet for about 6 hours, I fainted. Got sent home in a taxi, and as I'm getting in it, the manager tells me not to come back.

3. The big mistake that teddybear11127 made after getting fired was not putting that cone on her owner's head, like a unicorn.

I was a McDonald's manager and was already on thin ice for being lazy. So one of my friends comes in and orders a soft serve, so I make it the biggest fucking ice cream you've ever seen probably like 10 swirls and as I hand it over the owner of the store walks in...

4. So what's rumsfeldish supposed to do? Not slap hams? You gotta slap the hams.

Worked at a grocery store. Always slapped the hams when I walked passed. Management saw video told me to stop. I couldn't help it.

Nobody can resist hams.

5. User brineydeepbrineydeep lost his job to pay for another job (a boob job).

In college I worked for a small video production company for about three years. One day, with no warning, my boss calls me into his office, sits me down and proceeds to tell me that I was too skilled for the work I was doing and that he preferred quantity over quality. I was fired on the spot. Two weeks later my old co-worker told me that he over heard my former bosses wife state that that the money the company was saving by firing me was going to pay for her new boob job.

6. I,f like Dan_the_moto_man, you aren't quite sure if you got fired or not, you probably got fired. And also screwed over.

Not quite fired, but I lost my job when the small company (3 employees) I worked for went out of business. I had seen this coming for a while, so it wasn't much of a surprise.

I was surprised two weeks later when I saw the two guys I had worked with driving around in the company truck (with a new logo, but doing the same thing). Yeah, they told me they closed for business, and then opened back up a couple weeks later doing the same thing, just without me anymore.

7. Once goatonaboat started in with the night pizza, then everybody was going to want the night pizza, and you can't have that.

I worked at a backpacker lodge outside of my home country, for the two weeks I had the job it was great. Then I got fired for allowing some guests that had just come in at 4am to eat pizza in the sitting area. I was meant to unlock and set up the dining hall, which would've taken fucking forever at that time, and these guests were jetlagged and hungry. They didn't make any mess, but my boss came storming in and fired me on the spot.

8. Sounds like that conniving harpy Ann Landers was behind your firing, delightfuldylan.

One day I was feeling extra lazy at work so I sat down at the table in the break room and started reading 'Dear, Abby' in our newspaper. My boss walked by, saw me, and told me to go do something, I thought it'd be witty so I said "but I'm reading Dear Abby!!!"

He fired me on the spot.

9. Dawn_of_the_Dave was terminated just for being too impressionable.

I worked in the same building as an animal testing company. On my first day there was a protest outside and we were told not to speak to or engage with the protestors in any way. I don't know what happened but as I was coming back from lunch I got all swept up in the moment and accidentally joined the protest. They even gave me a placard and a cool hat. Apparently the conversation with the boss inside went like this "Has anyone seen Dave? (looks out of window) never mind...”

10. User inkykinky took their work home with them, much to their chagrin. (Chagrin means "diarrhea.")

I got fired from a café after I stayed home with severe food poisoning. I got the food poisoning by eating food at the café.

Don't be so dramatic.

11. Those books are for you and you only, green072410. Books are not meant to be shared. They're a single-use product, like a water bottle, or a diaper.

Years ago, I worked at Hastings (for those that don't know-Hastings is a book/movie/music store, they sell new & used items). I got fired for "misuse of the employee discount"-I admitted to Loss Prevention that I bought a book that both my mom & I wanted to read.

12. It makes sense why this person's account was deleted, because there's an army of greasy-faced kids and their parents on his tail.

I'm late to the party here but I was fired from Chuck E Cheese's for dressing up as Chuck and entering the main dining hall...without the head on. Needless to say, a lot of childhoods were ruined.

13. The customer service job maddkid53 held down was a great job, except for all of the customers.

I was fired from Kohl's for writing inappropriate comments on my void slips. When a customer does something stupid like wanting to add items after the sale has been completed, you have to void the sale, go back, and do it all over again. Super annoying. So on the void slip I would put the reason for the void at "fucking customer decided not to buy a shirt after they'd already bought it" or "stupid old lady wanted to add a candy bar after she'd already paid for everything."

I was pulled into the office one day, made to read all my slips out loud, and was terminated immediately.

14. For this story from Faith_in_Cheese to make sense, remember that 1) chips are what Australians call fries, and 2) they apparently cost thousands of dollars there.

Working at Red Rooster (Australian fast food) I was previously told that you could eat all the chips you want, as long as the customers couldn't see you. Fast forward a few months.

I get called in to the office, and it was basically explained to me very seriously that I had been caught on camera, STEALING FOUR SEPARATE CHIPS OVER A PERIOD OF A MONTH. Was basically given the option of quitting then and there or being fired.

Admit it. You'd lose your job for fries too.

15. _SPAM_, if burger chains are nothing else, they're a bastion of proper fashion.

I worked at Whataburger, a fast food restaurant chain, and was fired, on my first day in two hours, for not wearing black socks. I thought it was a joke, until the manager actually told me to go home.

16. Miggy_Wiggy is still the same old G, but they were not responsible for that old G.

I once worked for canadian tire, at this particular canadian tire there was an elevator between the lower and upper level of the warehouse, this elevator is filled with profanity and graffiti up the wahzoo, one day my manager starts acting strangely around me, and then a few hours later they call me into the office and pull out a piece of paper from when they first hired me, they said "this G here when you wrote your name looks similar to the G used here in this new graffiti we found, now i know you're still young but you have to understand that this is unacceptable behaviour blah blah blah...."

17. This story from Top_Wop will confirm every soul-killing suspicion you ever had about what it's like to work in a car dealership.

Worked for a car dealership in the finance department. The place that finances your car, tries to sell you life insurance on the loan, useless warranties, etc. The owner calls me into his office and tells me "Top_Wop, this is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but I'm gonna let you go. I love your work. Your paper work is the best I've ever seen. You dot all the i's, cross all the t's and do a great job. But you don't have that killer instinct. You know what I mean. Basically, you don't or won't screw people. And we all know you have to do that in this business". So I got fired for not being a prick. Go figure.

18. Why didn't you think positive, scisorkick? What's wrong with you? Sad about getting laid off?

Our store was going out of business and I was "Too negative about the store closing"

Turn that frown upside down! BTW you're fired.

Angry Woman Fired From Taco Bell Starts Destroying Restaurant Taco Hell, Amirite?

Angry Woman Fired From Taco Bell Starts Destroying Restaurant Taco Hell, Amirite?

There are few things more stressful than being fired from your job. The moment you’re given the walking papers, everything starts sinking in — fear, anxiety, nausea, and maybe you’ll even lose control of your bodily functions.

The human body reacts in all kinds of ways. Some go into a deep pit of depression, while others try to stay positive in an effort to finding something new. Then, there’s this woman. After getting fired from Taco Bell, she went into rage mode and took it out on the fast food establishment.

In footage that went viral over the weekend, a former Taco Bell employee wasn’t about to leave her job quietly. On the contrary, she was more about making as much noise as possible.

Warning: You are about to hear some harsh language.

As seen in the Twitter video above, the angry former employee gets a canister of what looks like iced tea and tosses its contents at a man behind the counter. The man, who the police identified as the manager, responded by getting a canister of his own and tossing it back at the woman. She reacted by taking her canister again and tossing it back at him. This practice must be written somewhere in the Taco Bell employee handbook.

From there, the situation escalated and the woman went behind the counter. The manager then started squaring up to the woman as if preparing to fight her. He can be heard in the video telling her son that she’s about to get knocked out. The guy even took off his shirt — kitchens can get hot, I guess?

As the argument continued, someone called the cops and the situation came to an end. The woman was reportedly put in handcuffs and her son was arrested outside.

The names of these people weren’t revealed, and there’s obviously more to the story, but one thing’s for sure: I never thought iced tea canisters could be weaponized like that. Also, put your shirt back on, manager guy.

Employee At Cookie Shop Branded 'Racist' For Not Paying For Family's Cookies

Employee At Cookie Shop Branded 'Racist' For Not Paying For Family's Cookies

A teenager has been suspended from his job at a cookie store in America after a customer branded him racist, the Daily Mail reports.

18-year-old Zachary Randolph was accused of racism after he bought a brownie for a police officer out of his own wages, and didn't do the same for the next customers.

The family behind overheard Randolph telling the officer he'd pay for his treat, but became upset upon the realisation he wouldn't do the same for them. They allegedly threatened to beat him up because they believed he wouldn't buy them any products because of their race.

The teen, from Katy, Texas, was reportedly put on temporary leave from his job at Great American Cookies. His mother, Tami Kurtz Randolph, posted on Facebook about the incident, which brought it national attention.

"Since when does buying a police officer a cookie give anyone else a reason to attack someone," she wrote. "And when did a Corporation want to FIRE someone for being KIND, taking what a customer said or did, regardless of how hateful they are.

"The family walked up and said 'are you going to buy mine too?' My son replied with 'I'm sorry I bought his because he is wearing a badge.'

"Then this customer started verbally attacking him, calling him a racist and threatened to beat him up. His wife threatened to go back there and slap him.

"The middle aged man sat down his little daughter and tried to come behind the counter to attack him. Thankfully his coworker defused the situation. The man then said 'I will get you fired'."

The post has been shared over 6,000 times and prompted news sites to get in touch with the Randolph family.

The teenager got the chance to explain he was simply showing appreciation to the officer for his work and service to his community when he spoke to Fox 26.

"He's just a really nice guy and on top of that he has a badge. That's enough for me to buy him something. That's the least I can do," he said. "A lot of people I know my age don't support police officers. I don't think it's fair."

Due to the attention the accusations have gotten Great American Cookies at Katy Mills Mall has reversed its decision, apologising to Zach.

In a statement released to the Houston Chronicle, owner and operator of the store Biju George said: "On behalf of Great American Cookies Katy Mills, we owe the employee an apology.

"It was never an issue that he purchased a brownie for a police officer, but rather the events that unfolded with another customer in line at the time.

"However, after further review, we realize that the employee was in fact in the right and we continue to reach out to him and his mom to issue an apology.

"The corrective action and suspension was reversed immediately and we hope to connect with him today."

23 Dumb Reasons Employees Almost Got Fired

23 Dumb Reasons Employees Almost Got Fired

This reporters boyfriend tried to stick up for her but a few mins in you can tell he realized he had enough of her shit. I feel like this girl is not in the place to be yelling “THIS IS WHY SOCIETY HATES YOU!” to a bunch of police officers. They are just trying to do their job and are stuck wasting their time with a drunk bitch who is trying to sit on people in the comedy club “allegedly”

This girl outside might have been funnier than the show. She had some great lines such as:

“Lick my asshole”
“Smell my shoe bitch”
“Piece of shit scum I DIDN’T SIT ON YOU!”

The girl who is a reporter said she only had 1 drink…

The girl asked for the video to be removed. I am guessing to save her job:

That just made the video go more viral.

Here is what the page that posted the video said about the whole situation. About last night: this very obnoxious lady, who was drunk (or high I think) was disturbing the show with her “loud whispering”. After 3 warnings and other customers were complaining she was asked to leave.

When she got kicked out she assaulted (kicking, punching, and eye poking) 3 of the employees in bar area right outside the showroom and then outside she mock spit in the managers face when a cop came. She verbally abused this poor cop who was trying to keep the peace at first.

The show was great though! Love me some Philly! Thank you

I hope her tv station employer sees this video.. sad sad sad

Someone responded with a comment that might answer that question: She’s been fired and according to her she had 5 drinks before getting to the club.

UPDATE: Philadelphia police now say that Campbell assaulted the cop after the video ended.

Stunning TV Presenter Fired For Moonlighting As Prostitute And Bedding 10 Men A Night

Stunning TV Presenter Fired For Moonlighting As Prostitute And Bedding 10 Men A Night

Senada Nurkic, also known by her stage name Maca Diskrecia, meaning P**** Discretion, claimed that she was too much for her punters who could not handle her.

But her comments on a women's chat show caused national outrage in Bosnia, where prostitution is illegal.

Nurkic, 24, explained that prostitution was a job like any other and she was not ashamed.

"Sometimes I think that I am sick for loving sex that much. And I think that I am a nymphomaniac.

"I have to sell my body in order to survive, and to help them (her family) with money. I don't see anything wrong in doing it."

But a spokesman for the Pink channel, who broadcasted The Mighty Program presented by Nurkic, confirmed the show had been cancelled.

He said: "Although the show was of an entertainment character without any intention to insult or humiliate anyone, and had good ratings, the management of the station made a decision to stop transmitting it.

"The reason is numerous complaints from the viewers who think the show doesn't belong on national TV."

Senada made several brash claims about her second job, and does not fear arrest because she is dating a politician.

She added that she only accepts clients who are good looking and not famous.

And the brunette hit the headlines around the world on reality TV show Couples when she lifted her top up and allowed men to lick her breasts.

She also had sex with a man on camera while other people were in the same room.

Waiter Asks For 'Proof Of Residency,' Is Quickly Fired

Waiter Asks For 'Proof Of Residency,' Is Quickly Fired

You can expect your waiter to ask all kinds of questions when he approaches the table, but, "Can I see your proof of residency?" is not among them. Nevertheless, that's what four female diners experienced at the upscale Saint Marc restaurant in Huntington Beach, Calif., earlier this month, reports the Orange County Register. One of them, 23-year-old Brenda Carrillo, recalls to the Los Angeles Times that she was dumbfounded as the waiter elaborated, "I need to make sure you're from here before I can serve you." The four women complained to a manager and left the restaurant, and Carrillo's sister, Diana, then posted about their treatment online. After the post began drawing reactions, the restaurant apologized online and said the waiter had been fired.

"In no way are the actions of this former employee representative of the Saint Marc brand nor are they reflective of the opinions of anyone else on our team, including executive management," said a restaurant statement. A Saint Marc exec says the waiter explained that he meant the question as a joke, but the women say he clearly did not. Saint Marc offered to bring the women back for VIP treatment and donate 10% of the night's proceeds to a charity of their choice. They declined the first but asked that the money go to a group that helps undocumented immigrants. The Carrillo sisters, described by Brenda as "light-skinned Latinas," do not fall into that category, for the record. They were born and raised in California. "It sends a chill through your entire body," says Diana of the incident.

Plumber Fired After Sharing Photo Of Woman’s Sex Toy On Facebook

Plumber Fired After Sharing Photo Of Woman’s Sex Toy On Facebook

As a plumber, you must see a few bizarre things, although it probably doesn’t mean you should share everything to social media.

An unknown plumber has allegedly been fired from his job after he snapped a photo of a woman’s dildo stuck to her bathroom wall, the Daily Mail reports.

Not only that though, he uploaded the picture to Facebook, which unfortunately cost him his job after the toy’s owner saw it online.

After capturing the ‘unusual’ image, he posted it on the ‘Blokes Advice’ group on Facebook, which in turn got shared on the ‘Bad Girls Advice’ page.

Unluckily for him, the toy’s owner was a part of the group and after realising this was her bathroom, she contacted the plumber’s boss in a rage.

The photo was captioned with ‘as a plumber this is my greatest fear’, which added to the woman’s horror.

The Blokes Advice group were apparently livid their photo had been shared on the girls’ page.

They commented:

Long story short end result is the bloke that took the photo is now out a job which is obviously a less than ideal outcome.

Another wrote:

There’s some serious dogging the boys going on here!

In response to the situation, the jilted tradesman posted the letter his boss had sent to him.

It read:

Your actions are condemned by me and have put my company in a vulnerable position. As discussed, I know now in hindsight, you regret your actions, but unfortunately they can not be undone and have caused damage.

Let me say, I admire your willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for your actions.

After his speedy sacking, the plumber was forced to assess his behaviour and actions, but it doesn’t seem like he holds too much regret.

He posted:

Would I do it again probably not.

Give me time to have a looooong haaaaard think about what I have done.

Hopefully he’s learnt his long and hard lesson.

Dozens Fired After Participating in 'A Day Without Immigrants'

Dozens Fired After Participating in 'A Day Without Immigrants'

Thousands of immigrants stayed home from work Thursday, shuttering restaurants and slowing other industries, for the national "A Day Without Immigrants" protest. Now it appears many were asked not to come back. In Oklahoma, a dozen workers at I Don't Care Bar and Grill were fired after missing work Thursday; most had been working at the restaurant since it opened, KTUL reports. "You and your family are fired," their boss said in a text message. "I hope you enjoyed your day off and you can enjoy many more. Love you." According to WLTX, 21 workers at Encore Boat Builders in South Carolina—most of them long-term employees with young kids—were fired after taking part in A Day Without Immigrants.

Meanwhile in Tennessee, 18 workers at Bradley Coatings were fired after informing their supervisors they planned to participate in the protest, NewsChannel5 reports. They say it was "unfair after working for them for so many years," especially because they were going to make up the time missed on Sunday. In a statement, Bradley Coatings says it has "always celebrated diversity and supported the immigrant community," but it "had no choice" but to fire the workers. According to WTVD, two employees at a North Carolina packing warehouse were suspended for missing work Thursday. Oklahoma, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina are right-to-work states, which means employers can terminate employees with few restrictions.

15 Managers Reveal The Dumbest Reasons They've Had To Fire Someone

15 Managers Reveal The Dumbest Reasons They've Had To Fire Someone

Holding down a job may seem like an easy task, but for many people it's impossible.

So, for the last time, Gary, you HAVE to wear pants to work. We understand they're itchy, and that's an entirely different thing you've gotta get checked out, but c'mon man, it's McDonald's. There's children here.

Female Cop Busted Stealing And Posting Nudes Of Another Female Cop

Well, something tells me they won’t be partners anytime soon.

According to AJC, a Georgia cop named Audrey Francisquin has been arrested and is facing charges after posting nude photos of another female cop to Snapchat and Instagram.

The 24-year-old suspect was arrested after the victim, another female cop, told police that someone had accessed her social media accounts. According to a police report released, the victim received messages from Francisquin saying things like “you’re going to learn.” The victim only learned her nudes were up for all to see after some friends informed her.

“(The victim) is unaware of where this behavior came from and says she talked to this (woman) several days prior and everything was okay,” the police report said.

Apparently Francisquin found a way to download all of the victim’s nudes from her phone. Not cool, copper.

Francisquin faces charges of computer trespassing, explicit transmissions and invasion of privacy by computer. She is currently on administrative leave pending the investigation.

3 Officers Fired After CCTV Shows Them Beating Man In A Holding Cell

Three police officers have been fired following an excessive force accusation by a Massachusetts man. Surveillance video shows police beating the man after he was arrested at the Six Flags amusement park. He was brought to a holding cell at the Agawam Police Department but was not completely cooperative. Agawam Mayor Richard Cohen believes the officers were not justified in their use of force. The city is not pursuing any criminal charges against the officers but they have been fired, which the officers are currently appealing.

The guy with the baton is a complete asshole... IMHO

Waitress Shoots at Robbers, Gets Fired

Waitress Shoots at Robbers, Gets Fired

When three robbers walked into the Waffle House in Newnan, Georgia, where she worked, Heather "Shorty" Burkinshaw-Stanley didn't hesitate. As the trio made their escape, the waitress followed them outside and fired a shot, the Daily News reports. For her efforts, Burkinshaw-Stanley was fired. But the mother of three says she's do it all again. "To myself I felt it was right," she tells WSB-TV. The drama unfolded in the wee hours Thursday after the three men finished a meal and handed a waitress a note threatening to shoot everyone if she didn't hand over "all the money," reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. No gun was shown. They got $200 and walked out. Meanwhile, Burkinshaw-Stanley strode to her car, grabbed a gun, and fired a shot in the air "in an attempt to scare the robbers," she explains.

"I didn’t know if they had guns … so my instinct was to go to my car and get the gun,” Burkinshaw-Stanley tells WSB. "I was in fear for my life, my co-workers’ lives, and I did what I thought was right," she tells the Newnan Times-Herald. Her employers apparently didn't think so and fired her the following day. "We want people to feel safe on both sides of the counter," says a Waffle House rep. “That bullet could have went anywhere, hit anyone," one neighbor tells WSB, "but I definitely think she had the right to defend herself." Cops are looking for the suspects and Burkinshaw-Stanley, who worked at the chain restaurant for nearly two years, is looking for a new job. She started a GoFundMe page to make ends meet, and about $6,800 has been donated.

School Board Gives Trump Supporter 24 Hours To Quit

School Board Gives Trump Supporter 24 Hours To Quit

Buffalo's school board voted 6-2 Thursday to try to get rid of a controversial ninth member—Carl Paladino, co-chair of Donald Trump's New York campaign. The board gave Paladino 24 hours to resign over what it called "unambiguously racist" and "morally repugnant" remarks about the Obamas he made last week, reports the Huffington Post. Paladino, who unsuccessfully ran for governor as a Republican in 2010, told Buffalo weekly Artvoice that he wanted to see President Obama die of mad cow disease in 2017, and for Michelle Obama to "return to being a male" and live in a cave in Zimbabwe with a gorilla. The board said that if Paladino won't quit, it will petition New York Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia to remove him, the Buffalo News reports.

"Words matter, Mr. Paladino," said School Board President Barbara Seals Nevergold at a raucous meeting Thursday, which Paladino did not attend. "The impact on children of color, especially African-American children, is incalculable," she said. "They would like me to tell you, 'You're fired.'" Other board members accused Paladino of racism and other misconduct going back many years. Paladino, who has said he won't step down, issued a statement accusing the board of trying to get rid of him for exposing corruption. Earlier this week, Paladino—whose comments were called "reprehensible" by the Trump transition team—said his words were poorly chosen and claimed he had meant to forward his remarks to friends instead of sending them to Artvoice, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Wonder Woman Just Got Fired By The UN—Maybe For Her Looks

Wonder Woman Just Got Fired By The UN—Maybe For Her Looks

A United Nations spokesman has confirmed to Reuters that Wonder Woman's reign as an honorary ambassador for gender equality will be ending Friday, even though originally she was meant to punch a card for the UN through 2017. The "scantily clad, curvaceous comic book superhero," as the news agency describes her, had spurred objections to her "appointment" in October not for her message of female empowerment, but because of her "sexualized" appearance, per the BBC. "Although the original creators may have intended Wonder Woman to represent a strong and independent 'warrior' woman with a feminist message, the reality is that the character's current iteration is that of a large breasted, white woman of impossible proportions," reads an online petition against her UN role that has garnered nearly 45,000 signatures.

There were also protests by UN workers when her ambassadorship was announced. The UN spokesman tried to downplay her dismissal, noting to Reuters that the group typically doesn't use fictional characters as mascots or otherwise for more than a few months at a time.

A rep for DC Entertainment, which owns DC Comics (the superhero's home), notes, "Wonder Woman stands for peace, justice, and equality, and for 75 years she has been a motivating force for many and will continue to be long after the conclusion of her UN honorary ambassadorship."

When you don’t even have a chance to quit your day job because you got fired first.

Ever wonder why they call it snail mail?

People who expose themselves in public don’t usually dress that well.

Another reason fast food is bad for your health.

Not his poo, not his problem.

Does karma work that fast?

Before social media, people still got caught red-handed.

This is why people usually stay away from hairdressers with bad hair.

Justice is swift.

This is what happens when you use the Boston Marathon bombing as your Halloween costume inspiration. It only took four minutes to destroy her life.

If you feed chickens jalapenos, this will probably be the result.

I think this is what they call overcompensating.

Cheese makes everything better…

…except for this burger.

Some people just live for the thrill of it.

The foundation of the internet is cats, so I pity the fool who posts this on social media.

Buns out guns out.

See what I did there?

You had one job.

If your mother-in-law is more of a monster-in-law, you may actually consider this as a gift idea.

If you’re going to call your boss out, at least make sure he doesn’t have any dirt on you.

Well, that was almost a great surprise party.

They asked him to write an accurate, yet brief description of the show.

I think he nailed it.

This gives a whole new meaning to soft shell taco.

Let’s be real, everyone has those days when they just don’t care.

But if that’s every day for you, then you should dust off that resume.

Dude Quits Job By Having Sex With His Boss’s Daughter, Then He Shares It On Facebook

Dude Quits Job By Having Sex With His Boss’s Daughter, Then He Shares It On Facebook

Look, guys, I know the majority of you hate your boss, as I assume everyone’s boss is like Mr. Burns, as they are usually trying to destroy the world or hit on your wife. But while many of you envision a perfect scenario that involves you quitting your job and sticking it to your boss, the guy in this story actually did it. Although he “sticked it in” someone else…

Even though some people’s bosses make them do insane things, a dude named Chris did an insane thing to his boss when he learned that he was due to get fired: He banged his boss’s daughter.

Oh and he shared it on Facebook. A seven minute video that reeled in over two million views (of course Facebook took it down soon after).

Now here are some of the screenshots from the video we can show you:

Yep, that’s a butt.

Yep, you can clearly see her face.

Yep, that’s clearly an emoji covering her goods.

Going to assume this didn’t go over well once news got back to the boss, but hey, I’m sure the gal in the video gave the dude a raise. Ha, that’s the best joke I’ve had in months.
