It seems the US government/agencies allow all sorts of questionable practices in the food and drug industries. Ever wonder what kind of damage the laundry list of multi syllable chemicals do that are printed on the packages of processed food. It is no wonder the number of cancers has increased tenfold since the 1950’s!
