Woman’s Botched Nose Job Leaves Her With Horrific Consequences

Plastic surgery is arguably a scary process, one which people are willing to spend thousands on in their quest to change their appearance.

So there’s nothing worse than a botched job, especially since going under the knife is so expensive and life-changing.

Unfortunately, this is what one brave woman discovered after her nose job went completely wrong, leaving her with a silicone implant in between her eyes.

Ouch indeed!

The unnamed young woman, from Thailand’s southern city, Hat Yai, had decided to get rhinoplasty surgery, more commonly known as a nose job, at a local clinic.

Unable to afford an expensive surgeon, she opted for a cheaper operation at the clinic, which later refused to help her when it all went wrong.

Asking for a more pronounced nose the operation appeared to be successful, however alarm bells started ringing when the patient started suffering from infections and inflammation in the areas of her face where the surgery had taken place.

Things went from bad to worse when the silicone implant inside her nose began to reveal itself between her eyes.

Protruding out of her face, the implant was very much poking out of her skin leaving the poor woman with no choice but to seek medical help elsewhere.

A hospital specialising in plastic surgery near Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, provided her with pro bono treatment, which removed the implant.

Although this was an improvement, the woman’s troubles didn’t end there.

She’s now been left with a huge crater where the silicone implant used to be.

At present, it’s still unclear how doctors plan to fix this awful mistake.

It’s also not known whether the woman plans to take legal action against the clinic, who refused to not only help her, but to take responsibility.

This case is yet again another warning to those looking to get plastic surgery about the importance of doing thorough research to find a decent surgeon.

Only earlier this year former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook urged people to avoid plastic surgery after years of operations left her face crumbling away.

In a bid to save her face, Westbrook had one last operation which she hopes will stop it from collapsing.

She told The Sun:

I’m petrified. I’m petrified it won’t work and my face will be ruined, but also something might go wrong and I won’t wake up at all.

Anyone thinking of cosmetic surgery should look at me and think again because this is how you can end up.

I’m never going to look the same ever again. People don’t realise surgery isn’t worth it. So what if you’re not perfect? Nobody’s perfect, but if your body has the wrong reaction to surgery, you’re screwed.

You could spend the rest of your life getting something fixed you didn’t need in the first place.

The message is clear – only have the surgery if you are 100 per cent sure and have done your research – but even this isn’t a guarantee the surgery will be problem free and the results are what you hoped for.
