World Superbike Rider Engulfed In Flames During Qualifying Session

World Superbike rider Javier Fores’ bike was engulfed in flames during qualifying for Sunday’s race in Spain yesterday.

Even more bizarrely, the Spaniard remained on his bike for more than 10 seconds as the fire burned around him.

Although the 31-year-old suffered burns to neck and elsewhere on his body, he was able to compete earlier today.

He lined up on the second row of the grid at his home race, so it’s not all bad news for the bloke.
