YOU’LL NEVER GUESS THE #1 SOLD BEER AMERICA – ACTUALLY, YEAH, YOU PROBABLY WILL

Though you may think craft brews have a stronghold on the beer market of late, in actuality, it’s still the big breweries that reign supreme in the U.S. Though Americans claim to love beer, when it comes to true taste, going by the numbers they like the light and fairly cheap stuff.

VinePair, a site dedicated to booze (and the same site that produced the app that tells you which kind of wine to drink with your pizza) revealed that only three imported beers lead sales in the States. Bud Light wins the sash and crown; $5,946,766,000 of the lager was sold in 2013, ranking No. 1 in the popularity contest almost doubling Coors Light sales in the No. 2 spot. See if any of your favorite suds made the cut in the infographic below. Brands like Coors, Coors Light, Miller Lite and Budweiser have seen the craft market take up roughly 10% of the market and with that have re-marketed their branding to fit a more craft style, Bud Light branding has remained untouched at the top of the hill. Whatever. USA.

What does American Beer and Sex in a Canoe have in common?

They’re both fucking close to water. 😉

Just proves that Americans don’t actually like to drink beer, they just like to try and get drunk.

Good God, you’d have to drink gallons of that stuff to get pissed..tastes of nothing much either.
